Tasukizori seems to be rarer - I have 15 izori and 7 tasukizori. In Showa era makuuchi I know of 6 izori and only 1 tasukizori. In Heisei there was only one izori in the sekitori ranks (Tomonohana vs. Hananokuni as you already knew). Izori and tasukizori seem to be more regular in lower divisions as I have 8 izori and 6 tasukizori since 1999. The one today was the first in makushita for both as most have happened in sandanme. I remember Tomonohana won to Hananokuni(not sure) by Izori. MIZAKURA who did Ipponzeoi this basho did Tasukizori before. Tasukizori or Izori, whichi is more rare? ;-)

sekihiryu-san Thank you for the information. SEIROU is one of my Favourite Rikishi. I believe that SEIROU will be a Sekitori in few years time. At this momet he dose not have enough weight. That is the biggest problem for him. But still I believe that he will be a sekitori. (Holiday feeling...)
