Oh man... I was sooooooooooooo looking forward to a 4 Ozeki Tournament and for seeing him overcoming his Kadoban Status establishing himself as a worthy (and worthwile) Ozeki. That is a real massive bummer... I do understand that it is the right decision to not compete and take time to heal, and I dont even blame anyone, but the dissapointment is BIG ! All fingers (and toes) crossed he heals well and makes the 10 wins in September.

I really hope he'll make atleast a 8-7 Kachi in July. Having him demoted already after the min. possible of 2 Basho's would be a real stinker. Fingers Crossed !

Hello fellow Sumotarians. I wonder if there is a chance to get to watch some Older Sumo Broadcasts (in english) I've had a long break from watching sumo between 2008 and 2017. And Thinking of "catching up" and watch some (or all if possible) Tournaments that happend in the specified timeframe. Thanks in advance.

This type of "cancel afterwards" is just realy pathetic....

You might think of Trump what you want, but I find this to be a nice gesture. I doubt that any next president would cancel that, why would he ?

Hey guys. I wonder, if it ever happend, that a Rikkishi made it to Ozeki twice. And not just demoted to Sekiwake and then got back with a 10-5 or bette, like the famous Tochiazuma did twice. But someone who managed to get the 33 (or so) wins "Again" ?

drunk driving aside, what I do realy wonder about this "Rikishi must not drive a car" (law?) is, if that is actualy inforced by law, or if its something you get "only" punishment from your stablemaster or so for...

Hi everybody. I'm a long time Sumo Fan from germany. I started watching Sumo back in the late 90s on Eurosport. Had a several years brake when Eurosport stopped the sumo broadcast and then (recently) found out about NHK World and got back to Sumo again. I came to this forum because I fancied to join some discussions about my favourites and get some more backround information and pictures.
