5-way tie for the TTT yusho. Not going to win on tiebreak (most likely), so I'll need to finish strongest. Slipped to 4th in UDH. No idea where Oracle is at. GANBARIMASU

Day 11: Chiyonoumi Toyonoshima Daishomaru Takanosho Mitoryu Kyokushuho Yutakayama Hidenoumi Wakatakakage

A fairly good day, overall, indeed. Tied for jun-yusho in TTT--which is really the only highlight. GANBARIMASU

Day 10: Daishomaru Chiyonoumi Takagenji Tsurugisho Mitoryu Kotoyuki Toyonoshima Gagamaru Kyokutaisei

This would be awfully nice, since I'm not sure I can expect any points anywhere else, unless this is a sign that all of my pre-basho games have made a turnaround. EDIT: My pessimism got the best of me. Didn't see my jun-yusho tie in TTT.

Day 9: Kiribayama Daishomaru Takagenji Tsurugisho Takanosho Daiamami Yutakayama Chiyonoumi Azumaryu

It's probably a good thing I don't have time for much commentary, because I'd only be complaining. GANBARIMASU

Day 8: Toyonoshima Takagenji Kiribayama Tobizaru Takanosho Mitoryu Kyokushuho Yutakayama Daishomaru

Only in positive territory in Toto and (probably) TTT, at 4-3 in both. Just one of those basho, I guess. (Can't be bothered to look at pre-bashos right now.) GANBARIMASU

The Machine is unfazed. Operator error only caused one loss in SG.

Day 7: Kyokutaisei Kiribayama Tobizaru Takagenji Daiamami Yutakayama Aminishiki Toyonoshima Tsurugisho

Rather like this basho so far. GANBARIMASU

Day 6: Takagenji Aminishiki Daishomaru Toyonoshima Tobizaru Yutakayama Takanosho Tsurugisho Mitoryu

Of course, the day I pass out before fusensho announcements because of a kidney stone is the day someone withdraws. At least it only cost me a win in SG (which is almost automatic, given how close most SG bouts are). GANBARIMASU

Day 5: Toyonoshima Kiribayama Tsurugisho Takanosho Aminishiki Kotoyuki Daishomaru Churanoumi Daiamami

Pretty well a clean sweep except for Toto, which puts me 2-2 practically everywhere except TTT, where I have a happy 3-1 and a large tie for 4th. Too much busy-ness for much more commentary. GANBARIMASU

Day 4: Kotoyuki Takagenji Tobizaru Kyokutaisei Toyonoshima Sokokurai Arawashi Takanosho Mitoryu

Except for Toto and TTT, it's nothing but losses on day 3. (2-1 in each of those two, 0-3 in Quad and I believe 1-2 everywhere else.) Looking like Just Another Basho for The Machine, but it's early days yet. GANBARIMASU

Day 3: Yutakayama Daiamami Tobizaru Churanoumi Aminishiki Hidenoumi Toyonoshima Takanosho Kiribayama

8-man GBL in Bench to win on the second bench rikishi. Now THAT'S a highlight. Looks like I'm 1-1 practically everywhere but Quad. GANBARIMASU

Day 2: Arawashi Takanosho Mitoryu Churanoumi Daiamami Toyonoshima Tobizaru Kyokutaisei Aminishiki

Losses everywhere but SG and Toto. Not good, but in games like TTT where only 12 people walked away with a win, it's not quite so bad. Being part of the Ichinojo Exodus in Chain is no fun. Oh, and, of course, I won in the Baka Cup. Silver linings. GANBARIMASU
