  1. Most Smart TVs are not able to show Adobe Flash content (which is good, as Flash is bad). Vaughn (=Sherming9) works only with Flash, while QQ works well without Flash (using HTML5 then).
  2. Not reading "Off-topic" sometimes is a mistake, glad that somebody in the Shermin-chat mentioned the meet-up today. I'll be in Tokyo anyway, so count me in.
  3. http://live.qq.com/q/sportslive is back live and running fine.
  4. I use uBlock Origin as adblocker and do not see any pop-ups at all. The add-on is available for Firefox and Chrome.
  5. I watched sumo on the chinese site yesterday and I do so right now and it runs very smooth. No mongolese babble over the japanese tone.
  6. That was me. I seem to be the only lucky viewer, stream is since day one very good, no dropouts, no freezing.
  7. Vaughn Live worked perfect for me today, not a single hickup.
  8. Found it by myself, it's well hidden in the Content Type dropdown in the Activity Stream.
  9. I the old version I was able to hide some forums from the list of topics with unread content (Sumo games as an example). Is the option gone or am I blind?
  10. Ah, now I understand, the shop is _in_ the Kokuhikan (I thought it's just the name of the shop) and it is open while there is no tournament. Very good, I will do some shopping there in 3 weeks, it's just one stop on the Sobu Main Line from our apartment.
  11. I like that one! On the website (http://shop.kokugikan.jp/?mode=f1) it looks like they have a real shop, not only an online shop, but I can't figure out, where that might be. Can somebody help with translation? I'will be in Tokyo for some weeks, are there other "real" shops for sumo stuff?
  12. Now AhhhAhhhhhh-Man is back and both got new cups and a cute little flag!
  13. Toshiba-Man is back! But hey, where is AhhhAhhhhh-Man?
  14. I tried two different credit cards (last tournament) and for both the transaction failed. Maybe only mongolian cards are legit. Anyway, live stream looks solid.
  15. My japanese is only at a beginner-level, so I'm not able to rank his language-skills. I know he lives in Japan since ~10 years and I know some guys who live there even longer and their japanese is not much better than mine. Can one of the native-speakers tell, how good he speaks japanese?
  16. I could not believe what I saw today. Nekodamashi, henka, that idiotic grin - what will come tomorrow? Will he wear a clown suit?
  17. Fantastic video! Thanks for sharing ...
  18. The video is private.
  19. Wow Hakuhō, that was real Yokozuna sumo. How embarrassing ....
  20. Found it by myself: Aki 2015 archive on mega.nz: https://goo.gl/Qtk4a6
  21. It's a shame, that even if you are in Japan, there is no live-stream available from NHK. :-(
  22. Most tourists appearance at a basho is just a joke. They know nothing about sumo, they leave after one hour before the best fights start, they make jokes about the rikishi and sumo and people who really love sumo can't get it a ticket. I sat behind some americans in March and changed my seat, because they were so annoying.
  23. Ichi-Slomo-nojou. He is getting slower form basho to basho ... :(
  24. Somebody uploaded the daily stream of Nagoya basho to mega.nz (https://goo.gl/MGBVaO), are such videos available for Aki basho too?
  25. Very impressive! Thank you for providing this data!
