Only Fools remains my favourite, though I do have a collection of some great comedies: 'Allo 'Allo; Are You Being Served?; Blackadder; Dads Army; The Detectives; The Fall and Rise Of Reginald Perrin; Fawlty Towers; Going Straight; Grace & Favour; The Green Green Grass; Keeping Up Appearances; Last Of The Summer Wine; Mr Bean; On The Buses; One Foot In The Grave; Only Fools and Horses; Open All Hours; Still Open All Hours; Porridge; Some Mother Do 'Ave 'Em - also The Two Ronnies. You can't go far wrong there! Swami

Currently working my way through "The Green Green Grass" by way of tribute to the late great John Challis aka Boycie. Swami

Finally Hakuho's non-stop hokey-cokey in and out of tournaments over the last three years seems to be coming to a close. Hideously overrated and for all the anti-Kyokai bilge that appears, notably on Chris Gould's channel, he has been treated extremely leniently for treating the yokozuna rank like a public convenience. Never heard of that one. For me The Detectives (Jasper Carrot) was in that vein. Swami

Surely Orora is worthy of mention too? Swami

Also watch their serial "The Worm That Turned": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NhVrtQMy0Og Swami

Don't like "The League Of Gentlemen", doesn't do anything for me. Ronnie Barker was our best ever comic actor - the work in The Two Ronnies was possibly the best ever this country produced. Swami

Cannot stand Frankie Boyle, not funny at all, just downright offensive. The great comedies and great comedy performers concentrate on being funny without causing offence.. For me, my favourite comedies are: 'Allo 'Allo, Are You Being Served?, Blackadder, Dad's Army, The Detectives, The Fall and Rise Of Reginald Perrin, Fawlty Towers, Going Straight, Grace and Favour, The Green Green Grass, Keeping Up Appearances, Last Of The Summer Wine, Mr Bean, On The Buses, One Foot In The Grave, Only Fools and Horses, Open All Hours, Porridge and Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em. In my opinion, the last truly great British comedy. Political correctness is making it impossible for comedy writers now to come up with any decent shows. Swami

A bit of everything today, Fawlty Towers, One Foot In The Grave and lots of 80s music. Swami

Such sad news, as Sir David Jason said yesterday, he must have gone downhill very quickly in the last few weeks. He will be hugely missed. Swami

Kitakachidoki was always a memorable shikona. Swami

No mention of the yusho issues yet, though that will probably get another airing in another video. Swami

The videos are being posted thick and fast, Takatoriki now claiming that Asashoryu was screwed - according to his ex-manager. Swami
-
Almost right on cue, Chris has posted another new video today "Kasuganishiki - the man who knew too much". Swami
-
His lickspittling of Hakuho is extremely annoying as well. Swami
-
Thanks for that. It just seems to me that Takatoriki is just another like ex-Itai, permanently with an axe to grind against the Kyokai, possibly motivated by financial issues to come out with these stories. If Takatoriki has so much faith in his views, why doesn't he name the figure he alleges of match-fixing? He should either put up or shut up. Swami
-
I see Chris Gould has posted a video with more Takatoriki silliness, though it started off seriously by announcing the apparent death a couple of months ago of ex-Kasuganishiki, one of those dismissed in 2011 for match-fixing. I checked Wikipedia and no mention of death yet. However, Takatoriki does not stop at that, he is now alleging, quite randomly, that the winner of the Makunouchi yusho of his Makunouchi debut basho is guilty of fixed bouts - not hard to work out who he's accusing. Sounds like a classic case of sour grapes and someone very much with an axe to grind against the Kyokai, and clearly the poster of the video is anti-Kyokai so it fits in well there. Swami

I think there is a website with all the covers, I'll see if I can find the link. Your suggestion would be a good idea, but it would probably be a mammoth effort to post them - they would make a sizeable parcel. Swami
