People should post their critisism for Asa. So it will be a fact that something Asa did/does bothers you before Ms. Uchidate points it out for you. Issues bother people only after someone points it out for them. It always amazes me.

Thank you very much for the information! How come do you know so much about sumo?

I really don't know how much Photoshop is involved with this picture. I'm sure it has some effects but I got no idea.

It is totally understandable that Manchurians kept Mongolia and China seperate because if they joined force they would have toppled the Manchurian empire. This is why big empires never last. More you conquour more enemies you have. If some how all the enemies join their forces the empire is destroyed. Philosophy behind is "Enemy of my emeny must be my friend". US and Soviet Union were once friends during WWII and before Cold War.

Cryllic+extra 2 letters is standard script since 1947. Our national script is top to bottom and left to right. Only kind in the world. Southern Mongolians still use it today. I believe there were a lot of pressure from Soviet Union changing it. I don't think we will switch back anytime soon since most middle aged people hardly can use the traditional script. Very old and very young can. People graduated high school before 1947 and after 1990 in between people barely know the basics. Literacy rate will be reversed to 1% if we switched official script today :-) There are a lot of problem with computing with top to bottom and left to right script too. Edit: Russian was second language. Everybody went through higher education knew Russian. I know some too. Nowadays people have many choices for their second language. English is very popular. Then languages of our neighbor Russian and Chinese. Then languages of leading donors and investors Japanese, German, Korean so on.

On the top: Famous ladies of Mongolia On the bottom: H. Purevbadam-Wife of Mongolian national zaan (sekiwake?) D. Dolgorsuren (Asa is not mentioned. His family is one of well know families in Mongolia since their three sons are successful sportsmen)

I didn't see that warn sign at the beginning. I just noticed it lately. Anyways I got no warning and don't intend to get one. :-D :-D

Yeah I get that too. Since it is 0% I have been ignoring it. But I feel a bit censored though :-D (Censored)

Again thank you for the information! Some stable has a master oyakato and several other trainers. Are those people considered to be an oyakato? Do they have to own a kabu and paid by the Kyokai? How many oyakatos can one stable have? Is the number of oyakato tied to number of rikishis/sekitori in the stable?

Welcome!! Spam.... I'm sorry that your new member introduction got so many arguments! I hope that you won't see this sort of silly arguments too often in the future since we don't have so many spoiled teenagers. (In a state of confusion...)
-
Thank you very much for the replies! So being an oyakato is a profitable position. I have read somewhere that Kaio owns a stock and lends it to someone to operate a heya. So who gets the salary from the Kyokai? The stock owner or actual heya operator? In other words salary from Kyokai is tied to the stock owner or heya operator? If someone has two stocks will he get double the salary from Kyokai?
-
I got a question! I understand that retired sekitoris buy some shares and become oyakato and those shares don't come cheap. Providing housing and food for his rikishi would not be free. How oyakatos make money? How is it profitable? and How profitable is it? Do they collect some percentage from their rikishi? or Do they have salary from Kyokai? Or just buy the stock and waite until stock price goes up?
-
OK! It turns out there is a lot of difference between on basho and off basho months.

'Fill it up with wine' would be wonderful, wouldn't it? :-S
-
PM doesn't look too small does he?

If taking steriods is not prohibited by written rule in sumo why not? Let every rikishi take and experiment with steriods if it is helping them with their sumo. Certain people seem to believe it is helping with Asa's sumo. I will recommend for Chiotaikai and Kaio to improve their chances for yokozuna.

I'm sure what was the meeting about. I heard something Asa become an ambassodor of something or something. -
If Asa joins K-1, I will find and join a K-1 forum too. :-D I'll be still a sumo fan though.
-
How many fans actually care for traditional little things of sumo like right hand and left hand? How many of you noticed that before Ms. Uchidate? Those who are complaining about left handedness of Asa did you really know that he had to use his right hand before Ms. Uchidate? I don't think so. At least it didn't irritate you enough to write about it. It is actual match that are drawing people to come and watch and be fan of sumo. Ms. Uchidate just wants 15 minute fame on Asa's expense. All publicity is good publicity. If some sumo related things are making the news that's the goal of YDC. I don't think Asa being non Japanese is not any issue. If it were I would think Asa would be happy to retire and join K-1 for the big bucks. :-D

With his brother Sumiyabazar in Mongolia meeting with Prime Minister N. Enkhbayar I'll wait for crazy Ms. Uchidate to come up with some B.S. (degree) thing to say about this.
