Considering Daieisho had been struggling ever since his yusho, and Terunofuji is almost always the man to beat now, one might almost think that Wakanohana is now less interested in picking surefire wins than picking an "up-and-comer" rikishi whom he feels will catch on fire in the upcoming basho.
