ilovesumo Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 I don't understand why it should be moved. Does that matter? Guess most of us come here by using "View new Posts". :-)
Kintamayama Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 I don't understand why it should be moved. Does that matter? Guess most of us come here by using "View new Posts". :-) Yes, I use "view new posts" too, but there has to be ORDER and that is where this thread belongs, alongside Tamanoi and other stuff . By your thinking, all sub-forums are useless?
ilovesumo Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 You are asking the queen of chaos (Laughing...)...sure there has to be ORDER- then make ORDER. :-) Could you come over here and help me with my room later? (Blushing...) ;-)
Fay Posted November 19, 2006 Author Posted November 19, 2006 If one could post in this folder, it would have been there from the very beginning. But my hands are tied ...
Kintamayama Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 If one could post in this folder, it would have been there from the very beginning. But my hands are tied ... Exactly why I asked the moderators to help out... you just keep posting-things will be taken care of, if needed, from above.

Fay Posted November 30, 2006 Author Posted November 30, 2006 (edited) See a message from Ozeki Kaio himself! (There is a long, long message from a fan with a link to Youtube, but it doesn't work with my computer, I get a strange message, so I don't know, what's the reason. Perhaps you are luckier (or wiser), otherwise we have to ask the sender for the right link.) uuuuups and the link: Tomozuna Beya Edited November 30, 2006 by Fay
Kaikitsune Makoto Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 There is a long, long message from a fan with a link to Youtube, but it doesn't work with my computer, I get a strange message, so I don't know, what's the reason. Perhaps you are luckier (or wiser), otherwise we have to ask the sender for the right link.) The youtube link is to some edited video of Taikai's recent hatakikomi win against Shoryu in Aki basho. Lightning and fire and Shoryu burning away and smoke etc. Bizarre but interesting. Has nothing to do with KaioU though...
Guest Mirabiyama Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Thank you, I hope the message from Kaio means that we will have the chance to see him the whole next year. I wish we had something similar as the Tomozuna site for the Miyabiyama blog, cause my japanese is so poor and I can't always beg my mom to make some translation (Shaking head...)
Fay Posted December 4, 2006 Author Posted December 4, 2006 (edited) Some pictures of Tomozuna Oyakata fighting with a fish - see it in the Tomozuna's fan room. Tomozuna beya Edited December 4, 2006 by Fay

Fay Posted January 8, 2007 Author Posted January 8, 2007 Seems that the Heya writes a message each day. So check out the website, if you like. I will also put some of my photos in it each day. Tomozuna Beya Hatsu Basho
Fay Posted January 10, 2007 Author Posted January 10, 2007 (edited) Tomozuna Beya will get three new rikishi in march, all are 15 years old yet, one of them is already living in the Heya. Some pictures of this mornings Asageiko at Tomozuna Beya Edited January 10, 2007 by Fay
Doitsuyama Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 Thank you for the pictures. Kaio already has the look of an oyakata. Who is the foreign rikishi? I thought that too about Kaio. The shin-gaijin is Kaisei, 6-1 last basho in jonokuchi and 2-0 in jonidan now.
Asashosakari Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 I can't help it, but my first thought upon seeing the pictures of Kainowaka was, "this guy could probably be more successful if he lost 50 pounds or so". He's certainly one of the less athletic-looking ~200 kg specimens I've come across in sumo.
aderechelsea Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 I can't help it, but my first thought upon seeing the pictures of Kainowaka was, "this guy could probably be more successful if he lost 50 pounds or so". He's certainly one of the less athletic-looking ~200 kg specimens I've come across in sumo. he should definitely lose weight but Orora, Mankajo and Anju look 10 times less athletic than him. Another blob-y guy to mention should be Hokutogo, whom i've seen from up-close /His body-type is like Konishiki's .... (Shaking head...)
Kintamayama Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 Thank you for the pictures. Kaio already has the look of an oyakata. Who is the foreign rikishi? I thought that too about Kaio. The shin-gaijin is Kaisei, 6-1 last basho in jonokuchi and 2-0 in jonidan now. Isn't he da Brazilian who came from ama-sumo and reached da semifinals in da Worlds or sumptin'?
Fay Posted January 13, 2007 Author Posted January 13, 2007 A lot of new pictures of the Tomozuna-Beya's party at New Year. New Year Party at Tomozuna
