serv Posted July 27, 2006 Author Posted July 27, 2006 (edited) I got the feeling that only you guys don't wanna hear about some fake sumos as you were NSK officials. How about the Kyushu(November) Basho 2004's play between Asashoryu and Kaio? .rm RealPlayer video link To me, Asa just gave on Kaio with hopes of NSK promoting Kaio a Yokozuna. The Aki basho of the same year, Kaio got the Yusho and NSK was saying that if Kaio got 13 or more wins on the Kyushu, they would promote Kaio a Yokozuna. However, by the 14th day of the Kyushu, Kaio already had 3 loses and Asa already got the Yusho. Then all of sudden, NSK starting telling the media that if Kaio wins the last day of the basho, they would again consider the Kaio's yokozuna promotion even with his 3 loses. is there a possible 'fake' match on the last day between them? i believe the day 15th match of Asa and Kaio was a fake one. just look at how Asa wasn't showing his sumo, very weak sumo against Kaio, just waiting for Kaio's yorikiri and trying to show it as a real match. AsaMoe Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 And BTW, Fisher is the greatest of all. Only the great Kasper (ok, thats not a joke in English) and Capa could match his skill. And Fisher was not stupid either. Many of the things he did, promoted chess (and increased the price money). (i secretly wonder, if there is a correlation between sumo fans and chess players. Maybe i start a poll about this.)
