Kintamayama Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 (edited) Rohou will be totally scolded for his unbelievable reaction to his loss to Chiyotaikai-I hope Doitsuyama keeps the end of the match- they stared at each other for what seemed like a very, very, long time. Uncanny. I don't remember seeing anything like THIS before. Edited July 15, 2006 by Kintamayama
Otokonoyama Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 Yeah, not even the hint of a bow before leaving the dohyo ;-)
Shakuyaku Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 (In a state of confusion...) He did WHAT?! Oh no... What can happen to him? Just a reprimand or? Hotheaded russian! (Censored) I know he's not the best of the wrestlers and he often looks like he wants to kill everyone, but I sorta like the guy. Call it an underdog thing...
sashimaru Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 Rohou will be totally scolded for his unbelievable raction to his loss to Chiyotaikai-I hope Doitsuyama keeps the end of the match- they stared at each otter for what seemed like a very, very, long time. Uncanny. I don't remember seeing anything like THIS before. Roho even talked to Taikai!
Shimpu Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 I think Kyokai should discipline Roho for this childish behaviours. Really primitive attitude. They can't afford for things like this - it isn't WWF... (In a state of confusion...)
Jakusotsu Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 He even tried to talk to the Shinpan (or Asashoryu) after he took his seat again. Unheard of! I hope Otake and Taiho bring out the big canes! I wonder what it was all about. Was it just "Ouch, he hurt me, Mommy!"? Eager to read the rikishi talk....
Kurinoku Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 (edited) Taikai looked very, very offended indeed. (In a state of confusion...) I'm afraid the example of Zidane is starting to spread... :-( Edited July 15, 2006 by Kurinoku
Doitsuyama Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 (edited) Well, to me it looked like Taikai actually started that when he jumped from the dohyo after Roho and stared at him, not letting him straight back to the dohyo. Looks like a promising rivalry is building up. (In a state of confusion...) Edited July 15, 2006 by Doitsuyama
Fay Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 (edited) Tsetsetse my little Roho (In a state of confusion...) I agree with Doitsuyama, that's what I saw too, so a yellow card for both of them and I'm really curious what will happen between them at Aki Basho. Edited July 15, 2006 by Fay
ilovesumo Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 All show? Remember the glance of Baruto (day 3 I guess). "Let's push up the fans!" (In a state of confusion...) :-(
Dale Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 Rohou will be totally scolded for his unbelievable reaction to his loss to Chiyotaikai-I hope Doitsuyama keeps the end of the match- they stared at each other for what seemed like a very, very, long time. Uncanny. I don't remember seeing anything like THIS before. http://www.banzuke.com/~movies/nagoya2006/...ho_chiyotai.wmv Dale (like a bad penny :)
Hakuyobaku Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 Well, on another note, Takamisakari-Kokkai (as usual) was rather hot as both wrestlers employed some after-bout activity, with Kokkai shoving Sakari who was already on the ground and clinging to Kokkai's leg and wouldn't let go even though the bout was already over,.. Hm
Tomoe Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 That's definitely not sumo any more :-( The stupid behavior of "bad boy" Rohou could start the whole "foreigners in sumo" discussion again (In a state of confusion...)
BFlatMinor Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 That shove by Kokkai looked more like trying not to fall over, imho.
Ossetian Yokozuna Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 STATE LINE. Every ossetian can say - "NOBODY CAN NOT INSULT ME AND GO UNPUNISHED".
Fay Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 (edited) STATE LINE. Every ossetian can say - "NOBODY CAN NOT INSULT ME AND GO UNPUNISHED". Wow, not really the christian way but perhaps much more fun (In a state of confusion...) They should both think about it deep in their heart and do their own sumo tomorrow :-( Edited July 15, 2006 by Fay
Dale Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 STATE LINE. Every ossetian can say - "NOBODY CAN NOT INSULT ME AND GO UNPUNISHED". Wow, not really the christian way but perhaps much more fun (In a state of confusion...) Isn't it kind of a double negative, and means that only those who don't insult him get punished? Is he asking us to insult him? Seems like a self-esteem problem :) Dale

Seems like a self-esteem problem :) Dale Apart of what Dale is saying, isn't it rather that every Ossetian (as well as everyone of any other nationality) who joins Ozumo, is expected to follow the rules and customs of that art? I respect Ossetians, their history, their "hot" character and their ways. But in Japan, you do as Japanese do, wouldn't you rather think.
Ossetian Yokozuna Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 Dale - I dont know english so well, but think everybody undestend what I want to say. "Seems like a self-esteem problem :)" - who"s problem?
Kintamayama Posted July 15, 2006 Author Posted July 15, 2006 Dale - I dont know english so well, but think everybody undestend what I want to say."Seems like a self-esteem problem :)" - who"s problem? Rohou should be banned from Sumo NOW.

Chiyotaikai-Hakurozan. OOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
Fay Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 Oh, come on Don't make a mountain out of a molehill. Some provocative words from Chiyotaikai (that's what I believe), a bad reaction of Roho ... and that's it. We all say and do things which are stupid, although you shouldn't misbehave in Germany, Japan, Ossetia and elsewhere.

Ossetian "Yokozuna" has always thought Sumo is a close relative of K-1 and all sorts of martial arts stuff, so why is anyone surprised by his immature post? Out with the trash!!
