Ryukaze Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Uhh just curious about the status of this basho's Makuuchi bout video's??? Anyone know whats up? P.S. If you need some volunteer help "kochira no ho ni douzo........."
Otokonoyama Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 As mentioned in a couple other topics, banzuke.com, and info-sumo vids are available.
Ryukaze Posted July 12, 2006 Author Posted July 12, 2006 (edited) Well thanks for trying mate but neither work, Im still not even seeing a "Nagoya" 2006 basho listed at all under Banzuke.com so a grand total of "0" video's there, and whatever that French thing is it isn't working either, (keep getting an error message saying bad link).......and as much as i'd love to stay up all night and watch the live feeds I actually have a job and a life that I have to wake up to, so that doesnt work either.....incidentaly is it possible to record the internet video feed somehow????? (Blushing...) Taskette! Edited July 12, 2006 by Ryukaze
Otokonoyama Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Did you actually click the banzuke.com link I provided (Blushing...) It takes you to the "movies of the day" page, where a kind SF member posts his picks for interesting vids. There's already three each for both Day 1 and 2 (Whistling...) As for the French thing, I have no problems with that link either...watching it a work right now thru a heavy-duty firewall (Neener, neener...) Perhaps you need to try a little harder (Sigh...)
Doitsuyama Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 (edited) Try "that French thing" with IE then. And yes, it is possible to record the stream. Edited July 12, 2006 by Doitsuyama
Doitsuyama Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 I had some time now to update my videos for day 2 and 3 (which are all bouts on the NSK stream before the info-sumo compilation starts - for these two days four makuuchi bouts each).
AsaMoe Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 The movies are of excellent quality, and as far as i can tell complete. Did this link exist in previous bashos, too ?
Fay Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 ohhhh, even a video of Kakuryus "fight" against Ushiomaru. It would have been better not to look at this one :'-(
Kintamayama Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Did you actually click the banzuke.com link I provided (Blushing...) I think Mr. Ryukaze is expecting Dale's movies, which at this point are out to lunch, with an outside chance that this is forever..
Yuriyama Ren Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 (edited) I wonder if it's ok to post this (Blushing...) If you can use BitTorrent then check: (link removed) For day 2 and 3 there are full length captures of NHK broadcast of makuuchi bouts. Edited July 13, 2006 by Exil
Phoenix Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 As mentioned in a couple other topics, banzuke.com, and info-sumo vids are available. Thank you for the French link to the movies! I've been wanting to see the replays again and now I can. (Blushing...) I've been waiting for the movies on Banzuke under a different link and they aren't there. I've been missing them greatly! (Neener, neener...)

If you can use BitTorrent then check: (link removed) For day 2 and 3 there are full length captures of NHK broadcast of makuuchi bouts. First some words of advice: Be ready to be warned or banned by EXIL who hates P2P networks (Whistling...) Secondly, the quality of these videos is 10/10, almost PERFECT and the size is... minimum, the whole day into 800 MB. Thank you very much Yuriyama for the TIP, and I'll be seeding at least 3:1 to the end. (Neener, neener...) Edited July 13, 2006 by Exil
Yuriyama Ren Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 First some words of advice:Be ready to be warned or banned by EXIL who hates P2P networks (Neener, neener...) Well, the caps of bouts like at banzuke.com and info-sumo are walking a fine line already. A broadcast of the whole day might really be over the line... Secondly, the quality of this videos is 10/10, almost PERFECT and the size is... minimum, the whole day into 800 MB.Thank you very much Yuriyama for the TIP, and I'll be seeding at least 3:1 to the end. (Blushing...) You're welcome (Whistling...)
Jonosuke Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Since I will be away all next week and out of Ozumo range, I will accept the bit torrent site gratefully. However I think we should at least hide the url (if not removed from the board entirely). We really do not want to be brought down by external force and always want to be friends of the Kyokai. Right Exil?
Kaiomitsuki Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Videos on Info-sumo from day 5 to day 9 will not be available until next week...
sekihiryu Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 I am surprised bit torrent hasnt taken off sooner with sumo, nonetheless the question I ask is why Piratebay? its one of the most crowded unreliable tracker hosts
Asashosakari Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 (edited) Be ready to be warned or banned by EXIL who hates P2P networks :-| Let's not distort the issue here; you were warned for linking to a rip of a commercially available DVD. Certainly P2P links to webstream or NHK Sumo broadcast caps have been posted here without incident before. I agree with Yuriyama Ren though, capping full days probably teeters on the line of acceptability. Edited July 12, 2006 by Asashosakari
Hakuyobaku Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Hm, what kind of injury epidemia came around these days? Dale seems kuyjo (intai?) can anyone elaborate on this? now whoever posts compilations on info-sumo went kuyjo too. Yusho goes to Doitsuyama!
Shibouyama Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Well, luckily, living here in Japan, I can watch the later program Sumo Digest on t.v. (all the Makunouchi bouts condensed to 25 minutes) if I miss the live show. :-|
Asashosakari Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Hm, what kind of injury epidemia came around these days? Dale seems kuyjo (intai?) can anyone elaborate on this? Dale on the SML
Toonoryu Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Hm, what kind of injury epidemia came around these days? Dale seems kuyjo (intai?) can anyone elaborate on this? now whoever posts compilations on info-sumo went kuyjo too. Yusho goes to Doitsuyama! Info-Sumo webmaster is just kyjuo for some days as he's travelling around the Asian area. He should be back posting the vids by next tuesday and will post the missing days too... just stay tuned !
Yuriyama Ren Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 I am surprised bit torrent hasnt taken off sooner with sumo, nonetheless the question I ask is why Piratebay? its one of the most crowded unreliable tracker hosts Umm.. just to be clear here, I am not the guy who capped and put these on piratebay, so I don't know. I read about the caps on another forum and since Ryukaze asked, I just provided the link. Sorry if I gave the wrong impression here.. :-|
Ryukaze Posted July 12, 2006 Author Posted July 12, 2006 (edited) Hm, what kind of injury epidemia came around these days? Dale seems kuyjo (intai?) can anyone elaborate on this? Dale on the SML Ahh finally that answers my question, many thanks. Ren bro thanks for that link also, this definately doesnt sound good for the dohyo/banzuke.com videos which have been the only real source of watching the video's for me for years so this sucks! As those other links are far from complete ( only a handfull of bouts just doesn't quite cut it.....) Doitsuyama-sama since you sound like your so on top of things perhaps you wouldnt mind picking up the slack for your boy dale??? Or even better reveal your "secret" to recording the video feed......... :-| Edited July 12, 2006 by Ryukaze
