Cammy Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 So yeah I know there aren't a whole lot of people on here that live in the states, but just wondering if anyone on here was going/know anyone going? If you don't know what Bonnaroo is, it is a 3 day music and art festival held in Manchester, Tn. There is a very wide variety of bands playing, the two main bands this year are Radiohead (omg I love them (Clapping wildly...) ) and Tom Petty :-) Some of the other main bands are Beck, Death Cab for Cutie, Bright Eyes, Ben Folds, My Morning Jacket, Buddy Guy, The Magic Numbers, Elvis Costello, Blues Traveler, Cypress Hill, Les Claypool, moe., Bela Fleck and the Fleck Tones, Matisyahu, Son Volt, Sonic Youth, and Phil Lesh...that is just a few of the bands...there are alot more...alot! http://bonnaroo.com/2006/ Link if you want to look at the site, also they limited the number of tickets this year...to 85,000 they had over 100,000 people last year.
Taka Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 I saw Radiohead twice just a few weeks ago and it was just awesome. Played plenty of new songs too which I guess they probably won't do on a festival, STILL if you're going make sure not to miss them.

I can't wait for the new album to come out, if they tour in the states i will go anywhere to see them. They are one of the main reasons I am going to Bonnaroo, they are one of the most influential bands making music.

But other than that it's been pretty low key and very small venues. They say they're only touring to get out of the studio and play some new songs. Tickets basically sold out in minutes and can now unfortunately, I would think, only be bought for small fortunes on ebay...
