Modems top off at 56kbps ADSL is 768k or 1.5 Mbps, and cable modems run from 3-8 Mbps. I can download dale's movies in about 1 second, even the 5 meg ones! Simply amazing. If it is in, or ever comes to your area, I highly recommend it.

It was only $44/month, and I got a $17/month break on my regular phone service, so it was a no brainer for me.
