My special day.

Today is my 7th AA birthday it is 7 years since I had my last drink. ;-)

I am not bragging or saying there is anything wrong with other people drinking,I just feel the need to acknowledge this special day. B-)

Part of the attraction for me to the Ramones was the story behind the group-

Like the fact that Joey Ramone the singer(d 2001) suffered from OCD and didn't really speak to Johnny(d 2004) for the last 10 years in the band after he ran off with and married Joeys girlfriend.

Dee dee Ramone who died of a Heroin overdose 6 months after Joey earnt his money for a guitar and to feed his addiction turning tricks as a rent boy on the streets of New york.

Is it any wonder their greatest songs included Teenage lobotomy,Gimmie shock treatment and I wann be sedated?
