Susanoo Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 (edited) http://sumogames.web.infoseek.co.jp/bingogame/ A new game "Ozumo Bingo Game"starts as a test in Japan. "Sumogames Japan" which is managing G1 and Yoso quiz sponsors this. We are fed up with the sumo game. I still feel charm for the new trial of this game. Although formal holding is in January, next year, I think that you can greatly enjoy yourself even if this is a test. The participating method Before vote, it is required for participant registration first (only in case of first participation). Please enter from a participating registration 「参加登録」. Please put in your Japanese registration name. English registration name. a password and E-mail address. If participating registration is completed, please input a Japanese registration name and a password at 「投票所」(login), enter with an attestation button「認証」. The method of vote A total of 3 x 3 blocks and nine rikishis are chosen. By the image of the cell of Excel, you choose A1 and A2...to C3. The rikishi who can choose is only Maegashira. The reserve rikishi corresponding to absence(kyujyou) is to three rikishis. If the contents checkbutton「内容確認」 is pushed, the contents of vote will display. If you have a no problem., please push the check button(確認OK). In the 「戦況報告」column, you can see the contents of vote of the gamer who already finished the entry. The measure against Kyujyo A reserve rikishi goes into the absent rikishi's block. When more than one rikishis are closed on the same day, it substitutes according to a supplementary priority. The number on the right of a selection rikishi(in entry form) shows the priority. In re-participation, in exchange for a reserve rikishi, it returns to the state before absence. Score Victory = one point. Ginboshi=+1 point(addition), Kinboshi=+2 point(addition). One point is added whenever one of eight sorts of vertical lines(length, width, slant) gathers by victory on the day. In all nine rikishi wins, it is perfect achievement. Although it is a creditable thing, a bonus is not given to it. The result of every day is shown in the "戦況報告" column. example(○=win, Edited November 10, 2005 by Susanoo
Kintamayama Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 (edited) Nice concept-I signed up, but why doesn't it let me use my shikona in English?? It lets me register in both, but allows me to play with my Japanese one only, unless I missed something, which is probably what happened. My shikona in Japanese, well..it looks real bad.. Doitsuyama Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Thanks for showing us the new game! I will give it a try, seems simple enough to play.
Kintamayama Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Thanks for showing us the new game! I will give it a try, seems simple enough to play. But demands great strategical thinking, diagonally. I can only think horizontally.

Registering two names has compelling force in the Japanese gamer who challenges the foreign sumo games . I judge that you may input freely. Even if your Japanese registration name and English registration name are the same, it must be satisfactory at all. Since I am introducing here dogmatically regardless of the sponsor of this game, I do not know a true intention. However, that there is such a system primarily shows that this game is wishing your participation. Therefore, I imagine that this does not force you a troublesome procedure. In the past, although you received compulsory directions, it is not a Japanese gamer's consensus. There was more voice which regrets rather that your Shikona is lost. There was also a gamer who said that he wanted to inherit your Shikona as the 2nd generation. I am also strongly attached to it very much individually. I am glad to find it on "参加者一覧" in "戦況報告". (In a state of confusion...) Edited November 11, 2005 by Susanoo

And that bit about "strongly attached to it very much individually"...(as I am sure Kinta san is as strongly attached to his in that fashion as well)... Intentionally or not, the best line I read so far today, Susa san ;-) Edited November 10, 2005 by Jonosuke
