Zenjimoto 40 Posted November 15, 2005 (edited) The deadline is over and your picks are fixed now.@Kotononami & Zenjimoto: Sorry, you were too late. Deadline is Deadline. You gotta be kidding me... this is 2 in a row now with this deadline... (In a state of confusion...) I am outta this game for good... I can't stand non-standard deadlines, Bench Sumo is bad enough. Takamueda 0 Posted November 15, 2005 No, I'm not kidding. I also decided to move the deadline to 21:00 CET next Basho. This deadline is not to punish anyone. It's because the torikumi of Days 1 & 2 is published around midnight CET. Anyone picking after that would have the advantage to know who fights on the first 2 days. I'll be strict with this in future. One second too late will be one second too late. The rules are the same for all players and there's nothing unfair in it. (In jonokuchi...) I don't know where the problem is. There is about one and a half week to make your picks, that's more than enough. I don't understand why anyone should wait until the last second. (Whistling...) Doitsuyama 1,263 Posted November 15, 2005 I don't understand why anyone should wait until the last second. (In jonokuchi...) Contrary to you I understand that very well. I won't go into possible reasons except saying that I don't make my picks based on nothing.

Takamueda 0 Posted November 22, 2005 I decided to make the following scoring system: The points you got is the number of wins you get. As simple as possible. 13 points -> 13-2 and so on. What if you have more than 15 points? Well, 21 is the first (and only one, I think) sumo game in which you can have a 16-0, 17-0 or even 21-0. But I doubt that there will be many results like that. With a 16-0 ... 21-0 you will climb the banzuke up faster than the other players. All players with 15 or less points will have the normal 15-Win-Loss-system. Banzuke? Yes, there will be a banzuke after this basho. It will include the results of the Aki & Kyushu Basho 2005. If you played in only one of these bashos, I decided to double your score from that basho and substract one win.
