Asashoryu's elder brother Sumyabazar lost in the final boot to the acting champion Usuhbayar on July, 12. Sumya lost his 4th chance to be promoted to Lion(=ozeki) and to win the championship wich takes place once a year. No, as I remember in the final boot several years ago he also lost to the older grand champion - Baterdene, who reached quterfinals this year despite his age and MP status...
