Phelix Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 I always read the comments at www.sumotalk.com during bashos. I find their commentaires to be very intersesting and well written. But I am but a novice. You who know better, what's your opinion on them?
aderechelsea Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 i read their reports. they express their opinions and i agree sometimes or i don't. They may be a bit over the top when it comes to henka or Shuzan but it is their opinion and noone enforces you to read it... anyway it is always nice to have sumo-related sites with reports and stuff. (a small note ... Sumotalk and Chiyozakura's site was my first online sources of Sumo when i started net-surfing)

They were helpful in their analysis of bouts and so on. Still helpful now just like this forum. (Sigh...)
Kishinoyama Posted June 4, 2005 Posted June 4, 2005 I was not even familiar with this site but I will certainly check it out now! (Nodding yes...)
Sesostris Posted June 4, 2005 Posted June 4, 2005 Hello, long-time reader de-lurking. I also started out reading SumoTalk.com after getting interested in sumo via Eurosport. I still read it and enjoy their comments, although they are heavy on the henka.

Takanorappa Posted June 4, 2005 Posted June 4, 2005 If you like SumoTalk, try dropping by Ken Coller's Sumo Now! site. (Nodding yes...) Great commentary, picts, etc. It was one of my first sites (beyond the sumo mail list) for daily sumo action & continues to be.
