Naifuzan Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 Sounds great! I will check it out further when I have time. Thanks for sharing!
Kishinoyama Posted May 28, 2005 Posted May 28, 2005 I think many of the current rikishi would be wise to read the material on your website ShiroiKuma. (Sigh...) :-D
Petr Posted May 28, 2005 Posted May 28, 2005 I admire your the way you could express your opionion on essential sumo issues (Sigh...) I just hope outsiders won't think that you are some fundamental confessor of some sort of powerlifting religion called "sumou".
Doitsuyama Posted May 28, 2005 Posted May 28, 2005 I find your writings very interesting and nicely presented. However, you seem to value power the No. 1 virtue in Sumo. I think this might be true (what do I know after all) but I strongly hope the technique and quickness components are of the same importance. Just look at my favorite, Tochiazuma, and see how he wins his bouts. Most often it's not with superior power, but it also isn't with trickery. It's just a superior ability to react to and initiate attacks, especially in oshi duels. Just one question to you: Let's suppose you gain so much power that you have more power than Tochiazuma. Do you believe you could have a chance against Tochiazuma just based on the power component?
ilovesumo Posted May 28, 2005 Posted May 28, 2005 (Blinking...) woah, is that yellow... (Laughing...) I like the "Why isn't it spelled Sumo" and,"Sumoudou" . Good work! (Applauding...) Good to know that you think about the magical part of it. (Nodding yes...)
Kaikitsune Makoto Posted May 29, 2005 Posted May 29, 2005 Thanks for the great work! Will definitely have comments and questions about the contents later on. (Nodding yes...)
hoshidango Posted June 1, 2005 Posted June 1, 2005 "Power" concept really seems to make sense. I don't recall anyone major strong as a slow sumo. Somehow they don't achieve super scores..
