Jonosuke Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 Can anyone help me and recommend a strong Toukyou Sumou club? With a high-caliber Sumou strength members? The one worth checking is Nihon Tsuun Sumo Club which produced the last year's All Japan winner. Nihonn Tsuun is a transportation and shipping company and the sumo club is located in Saitama Prefecture (not too far from Tokyo). Probably costs much less to stay there than in Tokyo, I imagine they even have a dormitory for the members. Saitama Sakae High's Sawai trained with them as well before he captured his High School Yokozuna crown last year. Shibuya out of Chuo University Sumo Club and a third place finisher at All Japan also joined the club last year. They also just built a brand new sumo facility.

They also operate globally doing a moving service for Japanese expats and have offices around the world (including in Praha) so you may be even able to find about more from their branch office like where or who to contact.
