It's not something you see every basho. (Yikes...) It's pretty scary. Even if Asashoryu were to lose both his remaining bouts, the nearest the jun-yusho rikishi could be is two wins behind.
Kashunowaka Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 The last time the difference between the winner and second best rikishi was as big as 4 wins was in Aki 1996, when Takanohana won. A repeat seems likely.

Whitespace between the tags is converted to which ends up between the table cells, so the browser is free to do anything. [one can always dream] I want dohtml back. It worked. Araiguma_Rascal Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 That visually says says quite a lot doesnt it. There's Shoryu way up there all by his lonesome four levels above the hapless masses. No one else even close to touching him.
