Fukurou Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 Yes, the Imperial Family was indeed in attendance. Couldn't tell if it was the Crown Prince or the Emperor on the video feed.Anyway, it was the reason why they did the Makuuchi Dohyo-iri differently. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I couldn't stay online to see Makuuchi last night. Would someone please explain what was different about the Dohyo-iri? Was the Juryo Dohyo-iri different too (I didn't notice that it was), or maybe the Royals weren't there yet.
Asashosakari Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 A picture says a thousand words: from last year's Hatsu basho, thanks to Doitsuyama.
Sasanishiki Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 As you can see from the video, basically they line up in rows so that no-one has their back to the Emperor. They also bow and leave. Too bad if you happen to be sitting in the seats facing the imperial box and get to see the rear ends...
Jakusotsu Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 Too bad if you happen to be sitting in the seats facing the imperial box and get to see the rear ends...<{POST_SNAPBACK}> But then again, You'll have a perfect view of the imperials. That's life, You never can have both...

Tagada Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 Wish I could see this, but when I click the link all I get is a new empty window and nothing is loading. :-( <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think you can also do F5 or "actualise" after having selected the new empty window. I guess you have Windows XP SP2. I hope my English is not too bad.

Zeokage Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 How do you uninstall that mess? I can't delete files from my Recycle Bin and I think SP2 is the reason.
