Kintamayama Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 Golynohana and Sashimaru, your guy Oba just left the building..
Gernobono Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 Jk29w Maeamami (1-2) oshidashi Jk33w Morikawa (0-3) if you are really desperate in jonokuchi there still is morikawa to boost your w/l-record... i hope this is the start to a long winning streak for my banzuke surfer maeamami
aderechelsea Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 i stand 1-2 also with Tsujino ... this game is a lot like lotto ...
Asashosakari Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 (edited) And so far it looks like Andoreasu has hit the jackpot with his pick of Kagemaru. Well, we'll see. (Shaking head...) Edited January 13, 2005 by Asashosakari
Zentoryu Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 (edited) This is how the selected rikishi stand after Nakabi. Yatsurugiyama 4-0 Kagemaru 4-0 Shikinokawa 3-1 Kainokuni 3-1 Nakatani 3-1 Yamatofuji 3-1 Takaki 2-1 Kaneko 2-2 Tsujino 2-2 Maeamami 2-2 Kototakeuchi 2-2 Anjoryu 2-2 Uchi 2-2 Hokuo 2-2 Kototogashi 1-3 Ishii 1-3 Hirai 1-3 Morikawa 1-3 Tsukahara 1-3 Oba 0-1* Maekawa 0-4 *= Oba has dropped out, but since he participated in at least one match, he won't fall off banzuke. However he will likely be at the tail end of it next basho (assuming of course he doesn't retire, or return in this basho and win a bout or two, ). Kagemaru and Yatsurugiyama are likely to face each other very soon. Edited January 17, 2005 by Zentoryu

aderechelsea Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 i ain't doing good ... this Tsujino guy must win the next 2 if he wants any success for the only guy that supported him in the first steps of his career .... (In a state of confusion...) (he could be 35 years old and in the end of his career for all i know)

(In a state of confusion...) (he could be 35 years old and in the end of his career for all i know) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am too lazy to find out how I can link to another thread. However, Doitsuyama has posted the full Hatsu Banzuke a while ago, all life-saving data included. Your adoptee Tsujino is sweet little sixteen, 175 cm tall, weighs 104 kg, and likes chanko-nabe and bungee jumping (Ok, I made up the last one, but the rest ist true...). On another note: as far as the Jonokuchi dynamics seem to work, even a 3-4 record is an almost guaranteed promotion to a higher rank. This probably has to do with intai in the upper divisions.

(In a state of confusion...) (he could be 35 years old and in the end of his career for all i know) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This is Tsujino's 5th basho actually. He's been hanging around lower Jonokuchi since his debut in the Natsu basho. No KK yet, but he's come close a couple of times.
aderechelsea Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 16 YEARS OLD ???????? damn ... i know how to pick them i guess ... no worries though, the first KK is due to come now
Randomitsuki Posted January 20, 2005 Author Posted January 20, 2005 Kagemaru already clinched his 6th win so far. He is still in yusho contention. You can see updated results on the table I have posted a couple of days ago. I will edit them accordingly.
Randomitsuki Posted January 21, 2005 Author Posted January 21, 2005 Kagemaru lost his last bout today. That means, our best surfers are those that have been picking Nakatani, and/or Yamatofuji and/or Kagemaru (all on 6-1).
