Zuikakuyama Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 Tochiazuma for me. Because he is a great technician and a hard worker. Hopefully, he can train his deshis just as hard.
Sasanishiki Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 I too have said Tochiazuma. He will definitely be an oyakata, no mistake about it. I think also that he has quite a genuine sumo that can be learnt from. What I mean is that he always gives you the impression that you can be an ordinary person and achieve in sumo. Somebody like Asashoryu always seems too special and like he is from another planet in the way that he conducts sumo with such a small body. Tochiazuma on the other hand seems pretty regular but hardworking and skillful. I think this would make him a good oyakata with a lot to teach. I just worry that he might be a little spoilt having grown up in Dad's heya. The other worry is the quality of the other rikishi in the heya.
Asashosakari Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 Kaio will be an oyakata. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Which, in the context of this thread, is supposed to mean what exactly? ;-) (Whistling...)
