Guest bnona Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 match between Asa and Hakuho is deciding yusho winner, i think. Cant wait until tomorrow. Let is talk about before "the bout". Who do you think will win? Personelly, i am biggest fan of asashoryu but this time i really want that Hakuho's yusho. Even he can't get yusho he will get special prizes? What do you think about it? who do you think will win...
Yoavoshimaru Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 Barring a shocking collapse like losing all his remaning bouts, I think at least one sansho will land in Hakuho's lap. Tomorrow's match with Asasrhoyu is fascinating: I give the edge to the Yokozuna still, but then again I thought Kaio would beat Hakuho as well and was proven wrong on that one. :-P
Fujisan Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 Even if I thought Asa would lose I wouldn't admit it but he isn't going to lose. (Enjoying a beer...) :-P
aderechelsea Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 i think Asa has the edge in this one (he probably has the edge every time he enters the dohyo, whoever is his opponent)... i would like to watch this one live but i cannot. . . . . (off-topic) . . . Go Kaiho GO !!!!!!
KIKENNA Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 This is the first time I'll go against my favourite rikishi Asa, just because I want to see Hakuho go yusho really bad. (last time that happened is when I cheered for Asa against the superhuman Takanohana) The only problem is that even if Hakuho wins tomorrow I think he will mess up at least a couple mor bouts afterwards. ----My predictions, however are that Asashoryu will win Easily (notice the big E) because with all his training he did with H. I dont think the kid has anything new to surprise Asa. The good thing is that I'll be happy tomorrow whoever takes it. :'-( Roho and Ama winning will just make my day more. ;-) *insert witty comment here*
Kishinoyama Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 Who do you think will win? I am rooting for Asashoryu but Hakuho is strong..... Still going with Asa... Experience SHOULD win out this time.
Jonosuke Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 Barring a shocking collapse like losing all his remaning bouts, I think at least one sansho will land in Hakuho's lap. Tomorrow's match with Asasrhoyu is fascinating: I give the edge to the Yokozuna still, but then again I thought Kaio would beat Hakuho as well and was proven wrong on that one. (I am not worthy...) If he beats Shoryu tomorrow he will get all three Sanshos...and even a Sekiwake. Even if he loses, this kid is incredible. He has power, skills and presence. He should be a great Yokozuna one day. He weighs little over 140 kg now but wait till he gains another solid 10 kg, he cannot be moved nor can be attacked either by oshi, hari nor yotsu. The kid is so cool already, once he gets more experience under his mawashi, he will be unbeatable not even Dorj with his quick moves can find any weakness. Give him a couple of more years and you will have another Takanohana, Kitanoumi and Taiho at their peak.
Zuikakuyama Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 I hope this match turns into something exciting like that Takanohana-Asashoryu match in aki 2002
amgaa99 Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 If Hakuho will win, I will be happy. And about yusho winner is very interesting.
Asashosakari Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 match between Asa and Hakuho is deciding yusho winner, i think. How could it do that, if they will both be 10-1 in case Hakuho wins? Just wondering...
AsaMoe Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 And about yusho winner is very interesting. No, i dont think this match will decide the basho. Even if Asa looses, and he will not, he still is the favorite for this basho.
Fujisan Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 I predict a play off between Asashoryu and Hakuho for the Yusho and Asashoryu WILL win the return match........
