Atamifuji is now 23 years old. He started his Makunouchi career showing a lot of potential.... but that dwindled in the past two years. He is still young, and has the possibility of reclaiming that original promise. 

Maybe in 2026?

Please make a comment below, with as much information as possible (including your prediction for his Jan 2027 rank), in case a tie-breaker is required.

Atamifuji will win a total number of 4 bouts over Yokozuna and Ozeki, reach Sanyaku atleast once, but have no KK inside Sanyaku before Hatsu 2027. He will lose multiple bouts against rikishi who he has atleast 5 more wins than losses against going into the bout.

He will have one basho where his total number of wins against sanyaku opponents will be more than the amount of wins against non sanyaku in the same basho. (sounds like a Norizo Cup question...)

I assume you mean January 2027.
