Kirishima previously spent a year at Ozeki (2023 - 2024). Last year, he was ranked in the joi-jin or the lower sanyaku throughout. What will 2026 bring him? More meatgrinder action - or will he return to Ozeki, or start the fall to lower Makunouchi?

I see Kirishima on an Ozeki run by Kyushu 2026

losing to someone in the joi M5( probably Ura)

consistant enough for at least 55 wins
