Kintamayama Posted September 24 Posted September 24 (edited) There is a major bug lately- can't respond with likes, get error messages when attempting to link, etc.. Not crucial, but driving me nuts. "Sorry, there was a problem reacting to this content." etc. Edited September 24 by Kintamayama 1
Bunbukuchagama Posted September 24 Posted September 24 In addition to the above, I often have trouble navigating between different pages of the same thread. The interface doesn't seem to be working, and I have to change the page number manually in the URL.
Jakusotsu Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Not that it's an ideal solution, but have you tried http instead of https?

Not crucial, but driving me nuts. "Sorry, there was a problem reacting to this content." etc. That looks like the thing that leads to the blacklisted error (the topic below in this sub forum), which esp. appears with links, not so far likes, but likely all connected. That forum posts can't be embedded any more and words like casin* are forbidden makes me think it's rather a virus that has infected the forum software, than a bug.
Kintamayama Posted September 24 Author Posted September 24 I cant move to another page in the same thread as well. This is increasingly becoming an annoying issue.

I believe it is only happening for threads that I'm not looking at for the first time, because I was able to navigate the Promotion thread normally the first time I opened it, but then came back and was unable to. I'm on Chrome at work. I don't recall having problems with Firefox at home.

Firefox at home here, I'm having the same problem with the "Next Page", and I can't give Likes, etc. I just upgraded to the latest version of Firefox, which paradoxically might be the reason for the problems ...
Gurowake Posted September 26 Posted September 26 I wasn't having problems with Firefox yesterday, but I am now. I might agree that it was a FF update that broke it then.
Finngall Posted September 26 Posted September 26 I've been seeing similar issues on Edge, so it doesn't feel like a browser-specific thing.
Jakusotsu Posted September 26 Posted September 26 To repeat myself: have you tried http instead of https?
Benihana Posted September 26 Posted September 26 Ok, we got Firefox with it's own engine and we have Chrome, Edge and Vivaldi (elitist me) with the Chromium engine. Any Safari users here?

Well...there's a password manager in the browser you're using at the moment, sooo why don't have a look there? 1

I do something on Safari and it shows up on Firefox, but some replies on Firefox don't track to Safari immediately. Right now, it's like some Murakami novel where there are two realities but they're not quite the same. I will go out tonight and see if there is a second, inferior looking Moon in the sky. Hey, a strange cat just showed up ... never mind, it's mine.

Benihana Posted September 27 Posted September 27 But that can't be the final solution. http is a no-no. 1
Yamanashi Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Sumoforum in 2026: "Boy, I'm glad I kept my Kaypro!"
Kishinoyama Posted September 28 Posted September 28 I get rid of the "s" and everything works fine but I have to check the address every time and make sure the dreaded "s" is not there.
Gurowake Posted September 28 Posted September 28 While on Firefox I'm not shown the protocol before the address if it's https, I was able to turn off https through some other means on the address bar, and can confirm that the issue goes away after reloading pages so that the connection is no longer via https. 1
