Fantasy Premier League 2025/6

I couldn't find anyone here doing a league this year so I set up a league for anyone to join. It's called 'Sumo Gamers'.

Would you do us the honor to join the Champions League 2025/6 fantasy game ? I'll send you the codes of our private league when the time comes. I won't create a thread for it this seson as it seems there is little interest here even though I've been trying tried to bring people to it for several years (only 2 players from the forum have joined it @Asapedroryu and @Pitinosato and I hope they'll try it again!).

I played the Premier League fantasy with you few years ago and I wasn't good at it if you remember. I'll try again this seaon just for fun as a (big) underdog !

@Xiongmao Only two players so far probably due to a VERY late announcement ! Is it worth playing? Please let me know as I wouldn't want to spend time every week preparing my team for nothing.

People can still join the league anytime so a few may come in later. Thanks for joining anyway! One good thing about this game is you don't really need to spend much time on it as it's well organized. Of course many do spend way too much time on it!

As for the Champions League, I don't watch it so sadly I can't join that one. I don't even want to play this game, to be honest, but a friend of mine has two young sons who are desperate to beat me so. As with most things, the money men have ruined football so I'm far more into other sports these days.

My son (Baku) and I created a team for my new place of work's league. Well, he did most of the work. I presume that I can use that team to join this league?   I'll try.

@Xiongmao no problem I can understand your point. Your friend's sons could play with us also, they are welcome (just in case) ! Let me know.

We're top of the league! - and in 4th place for all of those living in Uzbekistan  

Not sure how long it will last.....  Baku (Peter, my 9 year old) did most of the work for week 1. My  contribution being to suggest  Trippier as our 15th squad member, and play triple points with our captain.

We have now made a transfer (changing our goalkeeper), and decided to go for a 3-5-2 line-up for week 2.

Well, I am the only one who is obvious there. I thought that a "Sumo Gamers" league would imply to use our Shikona to be able to recognize each other.

I made the sumo gamers league just as an afterthought because I noticed no one here had done so! So didn't feel the need to make it obvious, although I added a panda in there somewhere just in case!

I used it already after round 1 ! All the injuries and the transfer happened right after !  Hence the "Am I lucky or what?"
