Relax. Only the next 90 minutes and the win is yours. Prost! (Cheers...)

Watching DEN - SWE on German TV. The comments by Stephanie Baczyk are really excruciating. Sometimes it seems she is looking at another match. The one or the other bad pass is described as well played... (Shakinghead...)  Guess I'll switch to some live stream from Denmark or Sweden.

Nice of them to wait with the first goal until I'm watching - Prost!  (Cheers...)

But as bad as it would have been for me in our match, I was actually rooting for Switzerland to retain their early lead. :-(

Switzerland/Denmark are useless as predicted.

Perhaps, but to be honest: Their R and C status didn't really matter here.

Agreed, but having some other combination could have helped. This was absolutely not my choice. Among 16 available combinations this was my #16. This is really an irony of fate as I'm probably the one who has watched the most women's matches among all participants in our little game. Not that I'm an expert, but I guess I have better knowledge of female football than most others here.

Admittedly, if you had gotten your first (and most contested) R-choice Spain instead, you would have probably picked Italy/Norway instead of Swizerland/Denmark, making our match more interesting.

Group D - Round 1 - Day 3

Game 1:

Krisachiyama 0:0 Ryoshishokunin

Portugal L : L Belgium
Wales ® : L Poland

A win by his favoured R-team tomorrow would grant the match to Ryoshishokunin.

Game 2:

Kimyama 0:0 Fujiko
(France) (England)

Portugal L ≡:≡ L Portugal
Poland L :x L Poland ©

Kimyama needs an upset by his R-team, otherwise the match will be Fujiko's to take.

Group B Round 1 - Day 3 :

There are two games remaining tomorrow but the winners have already been decided in this group.

As expected Germany won and the miracle didn't happen for Jejima.
Achiyama wins. He has already scored one goal and will win 2-0 if the Netherlands don't win tomorrow.

Achiyama     Goal H Chain H   Goal A Chain A   Jejima
1. Germany © W -     -     W Germany
2. Spain W -     -       Netherlands
3. Norway W - 1   -   x L Iceland

7. Belgium ® L -     -     L Belgium
8. Poland   -     -       Poland

  Achiyama     1     0     Jejima

The two games of the day were decisive in this encounter at #3.
Germany won and Denmark lost. Baku scores a goal there which can be added to the one scored at #1. He wins at least 2-0. A third goal could be scored at #5 if France don't beat England tomorrow.

Group A – Refioji Nekonishiki - Round 1 / Day 3

Denmark vs Sweden  0-1
Germany vs Poland  2-0

Asapedroryu (Iceland) vs Kaba (Finland)

Some slots are decided today, just like that Kaba’s chain has broken in the second slot, as it was expected. Asapedroryu wins the match, if Netherlands wins or even loses, then by 2 goals. A draw, however, would bring 3 goals.

Ganzohnesushi (Switzerland) vs Jakusotsu (Norway)

Jakusotsu has already two goals, too, and the match is his. If Netherlands wins tomorrow, then with 2 goals, if loses or draws, then with three. A win of France would be the cherry on the cake.

Group D - Round 1 - Final results

Game 1:

Krisachiyama 0:1 Ryoshishokunin
(Wales) (Netherlands)

Spain © W 0:0 W Spain
Sweden W 0:0 W Germany
France W 0:1 W Netherlands ®
Switzerland L 0:x L Iceland ©
Denmark L ≡:≡ L Denmark
Belgium L 0:x L Switzerland
Portugal L 0:x L Belgium
Wales ® L x:x L Poland

Although Krisachiyama's chain breaks only at the very last slot, it's the R-status of Ryoshishokunin's Dutch which grants him the win.

Game 2:

Kimyama 3:0 Fujiko
(France) (England)

France ® W 1:0 W Norway
Finland © W 0:0 W Italy
Spain W 0:0 W Sweden
Sweden W 1:x L England ®
Italy W 0:x W France

Portugal L ≡:≡ L Portugal
Poland L 0:x L Poland ©

Kimyama's default line-up turns out to be pretty ganbare, crushing Fujiko in the act.

Player P W D L GF GA GD Points
Kimyama 1 1 0 0 3 0 +3 3
Ryoshishokunin 1 1 0 0 1 0 +1 3
Krisachiyama 1 0 0 1 0 1 -1 0
Fujiko 1 0 0 1 0 3 -3 0

Round 1:
Krisachiyama 0:1 Ryoshishokunin
Kimyama 3:0 Fujiko
