The Fat Cyclist Posted January 15, 2025 Posted January 15, 2025 Today is the day I discovered that there is a limit on daily reactions. So I'll say thank you here :) 1
Sakura Posted January 15, 2025 Posted January 15, 2025 Since this is Gyoji day, Konosuke's first Ozeki bout (I think) was the Day 1 Onosato bout. 1
Oshirokita Posted January 15, 2025 Posted January 15, 2025 Thanks for the Canadian content. Now, if we could only see a little of Kototenta.

Don't know who you're referring to, but Jack Benny died over 50 years ago. The impersonator, however, is still very much alive. Either that or something supernatural is occurring here... hakutorizakura Posted January 17, 2025 Posted January 17, 2025 Nevermind his perpetual ozeki run, we're officially rooting for Chiyoshoma to become the next Y now! 2
Yangnomazuma Posted January 18, 2025 Posted January 18, 2025 It did change his fortunes, but don't call him Shirley. 1 1
hakutorizakura Posted January 18, 2025 Posted January 18, 2025 I suspect the mawashis of Kotozakura and Ichiyamamatoo were somehow swapped at the start of the basho, giving the former a slump and the latter an okay run so far. Koto had just realized that his mawashi didn't smell as usual and decided to wear something else today... 1
