Sanyaku Carousel returns to the Sumo Forum games section after a two basho hiatus, where we look forward to another great year of playing! in the last game played in Nagoya 2024, all time leader Pitinosato won his 6th yusho and extends his lead over our other players. Will he get to lucky number 7? In real time, Kotozakura and Hoshoryu are looking to make yokozuna, could we be seeing more than one yokozuna on the carousel this year? Select who you believe will win the presented matchups for each day 2. Score is based on winners of assigned point matches 3. The player with the best cumulative score at the end of the basho is declared the yusho winner 4. Match scores rotate each day, the top five wrestlers on the banzuke are assigned. As the basho progresses, the rotation points will increase, 1x days 1-5, 2x days 6-10, 3x 11-15 5. Bonus points are awarded if you get all matches correct in one day. The bonus is equal to the highest possible scoring match of the day 6. When two of the top five wrestlers on the banzuke face each other, the carousel assignment will go down to the next available wrestler on the banzuke 7. In addition to the five main matches, you are asked to pick an alternate and tiebreaker choice 8. If one of the main matches has a kyujo, the alternate match is used a. If there is more than one kyujo in the lineup, then the lower scoring match will not be substituted with a zero score for all player b. If this happens, you can still earn a bonus by getting the remaining four matches correct 9. Submissions can be sent through SurveyMonkey, forum post, email, or PM 10. In the case of a tie score, tiebreaker criteria will be used. Bonus points are not counted in the tiebreaker criteria 11. The maximum achievable score is 600 points, 450 in main score and 150 bonus points. Kekka is determined by the average score of players with every 30 points scored by players versus the average determining the kekka Tiebreaker criteria: 1. Most correct daily tiebreaker match guesses 2. Most correct daily max score guesses, the higher the score the higher the criteria a. 15-point match b. 10-point match c. 5-point match 3. Most correct musubi no ichiban guesses 4. Most correct guesses against Yokozuna and Ozeki (must pick sekiwake and below) 5. Most earliest submissions 6. Coin flip Sansho Criteria (Must have KK results) Shukun-sho: Most correct guesses against Yokozuna and Ozeki (tiebreaker 4) Kanto-sho: Most correct guesses for lowest ranked match on the carousel + Most tiebreaker 1 points Gino-sho: Most consecutive days with 4-5 guesses correct Registration will be open up to the day of the tournament. Players can still enter but it lets me know who is wanting to play. Submissions deadline will be by 4pm JST (11pm PST/2am EST). Senshuraku picks deadline will be 3:30pm JST (10:30pm PST/1:30am EST) *Daylight savings goes into effect for US players

In the other bouts the upper one is the one on the east side - and that's Shodai in this Bout If I make a wrong pick: I go with Onosato in that Bout Pitinosato

Carrying on, Fashiriteta had the best score of the day to jump into the lead, while WAKATAKE missed playing due to some things being taken care of personally (nothing serious!)
