Sumo Spiffy Posted December 22, 2024 Posted December 22, 2024 1-5: Pandaazuma 6-10: Susanoo 11-20: Oskahanada 21-40: Joaoiyama 41-80: Balon 81-120: Torafujii 121-200: Sakura 201+: Manatsumai
Xiongmao Posted December 25, 2024 Posted December 25, 2024 Here are PANDAAZUMA'S picks... 1-5: Pandaazama (cuddly and playful...what's not to like? Everyone is excellent here. Owl improving every year. And great to see Kobashi in the top five). 6-10: Susanoo (Frink in the top ten also good to see). 11-20: Gonzaburow (I like the cuts of the jibs of Kakushoyama, Kajiyanosho and KGY but Gonza is just relentless). 21-40: Joaoyama (banking on a good year from the big Brazilian bruiser. Andonikishi is a dark horse too but I can only pick one). 41-80: Kachikoshi (been watching this player...very talented). 81-120: Mariohana 121-200: Sakura 201+: Chelseayama (a mate so will try to give him some support).

Ganzohnesushi Posted December 27, 2024 Posted December 27, 2024 This team looks like Champions League: 1-5: Pandaazama (multiple Sumo Games World Champion, nuff said) 6-10: Susanoo (won the title in 2022, a reliable points collector) 11-20: Oskahanada (2023 was his year, top 10 candidate again) 21-40: Andoreasu (decorated with two titles in 2013 and 2015) 41-80: Kachikoshi (might have a bright future) 81-120: Mariohana (won the title back in 2004, time to repeat those brilliant results) 121-200: Sakura (now should be even more motivated) 201+: Yumezukuri (the Sumo Game Yokozuna should win a few points) Ganzohnesushi

Wamahada Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 1-5 Pandaazuma 6-10 Susanoo 11-20 Bunbukuchagama 21-40 Warusaru 41-80 Joputosu 81-120 Mariohana 121-200 Sakura 201+ Yumezukuri 1
Athenayama Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 (edited) 1-5 Pandaazuma (I might as well keep going with the champion) 6-10 Susanoo (very constant throughout the years) 11-20 Oskanohana (despite the bad jokes (just kidding!!) he is a great player) 21-40 Joaoiyama (of course I should have picked myself but I'll trust my Ichimon mate in Bench Sumo for this year) 41-80 Joputosu (another Ichimon mate, a very promising player who has proved much already) 81-120 Torifujii (this year I chose to "gamble" and pick someone I don't know at all but who seems to have potential) 121-200 Hashi (another gamble here. Sakura* is of course the obvious choice in this group but will she really have time to play? I am not sure about that) 201+ Barusho (third gamble in a row. Itachiyama, a third Ichimon mate (!) would have been my choice but I am not sure he'll play much this year. I mean he stopped playing BS for now, that says a lot) * I know she will play Sekitori Sweepstake though. Edited December 31, 2024 by Athenayama

Kajiyanosho Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Can't miss it this year! 1-5: Pandaazuma 6-10: Susanoo 11-20: Kajiyanosho [I would go for Oskahanada, Gonzaburow or other strong players, but I'm picking myself in case I miraculously do well again] 21-40: Joaoyama 41-80: Joputosu [my "recruit" from the Italianozeki community - very strong player] 81-120: Mariohana 121-200: Sakura 201+: Chelseayama

Geez..Would be quite helpful if there was an asterisk or summin next to retired or semi-retired players, but I guess it's up to us entrants to find that out for themselves.. Ruziklao Posted January 11 Posted January 11 I am quite sure that repeating the medal position again this year is quite improbable, but I have to try. This year I might finally get something reasonable also in proper games, that's why I go with myself in the respective slot, I did not do that in previous years. 1-5 Pandaazuma 6-10 Susanoo 11-20 Flohru 21-40 Andoreasu 41-80 TochiYESshin 81-120 Ketsukai 121-200 Ruziklao 201+ Gawasukotto I wish great sumo in 2025!
