Starring in a movie called “The Wide West,”, a Western set in 1900 about a sumo wrestler who goes to America. “He is acting rather well with a lot of serious action scenes..” said the executive producer.

Also with ex Hishoufuji, the guy from “Sanctuary “ who is the main character.

Ichinojo was the star attraction at Sumo and Sushi in Tampa, Florida yesterday.

My good friend sent me a photo of himself with his family, with Ichinojo, Mendee (World Sumo champion, and four times US champion), plus Hiroki, 'the world's heaviest sumo wrestler'.

That's what his Wikipedia article suggests (Hishofuji Hiroki).

Ex-Ichinojo to make his Hollywood Debut.

His stage name is now Ichi, and the movie, set in the early 1900s, will be about sumo wrestlers who take a trip to the US, and is set to be released some time this summer.
