Alongside various other dealings that are already discussed in the relevant threads, yesterday's board meeting also confirmed the tournament dates for 2026.

Hatsu: January 11-25 [banzuke: Monday, December 22]
Haru: March 8-22 [banzuke: Tuesday, February 24]
Natsu: May 10-24
Nagoya: July 12-26
Aki: September 13-27
Kyushu: November 8-22

February 23 is a national holiday as the tenno birthday, hence the one-day delay to the Haru banzuke release.

2026 is the year when Japan (Nagoya) will host the Asian Games. Which venue will be used in 2026 Nagoya Basho, in the old or new arena?

In the new arena. The Asian Games don't start until mid-September so there wouldn't be any conflict with the Nagoya Basho.
