Well, penalty kick is good, but it still isn't an automatic goal. Red card seems to be a reasonable measure in such a situation.

Asapedroryu Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 Time to see if Cristiano as captain can save what has been a very rubbish MD3.

Have you ever seen a penalty goal annulled because of a full stop by the kicker?

Yes, if the kicker stops moving completly it has to repeat the penalty. Have seen that happening a few times.

It's not a 50-50 situation (more like 80-20 although I have no exact numbers). The kicker doesn't risk that much - and it leads to abuse, as we can see.
Asapedroryu Posted June 27, 2024 Posted June 27, 2024 I have personally apologized to Lukaku for removing him from captain and from the team all together. He would have given me 4 points, which is 100% more his replacement gave....

Athenayama Posted June 27, 2024 Author Posted June 27, 2024 (edited) Standings after Round 3 : And the round 3 was tricky indeed as the mediocre scores confirmed it. I didn't check the details of all teams but the two main reasons are the low scores in the actual games (goals and assists bring most of the points) and the fact that many picked players didn't play. In our fantasy Pitinosato is our new leader ! Spytoneryu comes back in the top 3 after being there in round 1 already. Athenayama completes the podium. Needless to say that the gaps are very small. Things are becoming a little difficult from #13 onwards. Next round will be crucial for them. Chelseayama is playing yo-yo losing 5 ranks this round after climbing 11 in the previous one. Fun fact, @Pandaazuma is the only one who didn't move at all right from the start. 6th is his rank in all rounds ! Probably he is waiting the knock out stages as all the big teams in the EURO to perform in full throttle. +/- Pitinosato +1 Spytoneryu +3 Athenayama -2 Joputosu +2 Asapedroryu -1 Pandaazuma = Bunbukuchagama +2 Chelseayama -5 chishafuwaku +3 Tibozuka = Jejima = Lordshamrockyama -3 Kimyama = Jarayama = Achiyama = Djodjoyoshi = Edited June 27, 2024 by Athenayama
Athenayama Posted June 27, 2024 Author Posted June 27, 2024 Do not forget you have 2 wildcards. Use them wisely. They could be the key to final victory !

Athenayama Posted July 3, 2024 Author Posted July 3, 2024 (edited) Standings after Round of 16 : Round of 16 brought us several changes. First of all we have a new leader. Joputosu performs the best score of the round (an impressive one) and is now on top of the standings with a 9 points gap from the new second Bunbukuchagama. Our previous leader, Pitinosato, completes the top 3. 10 players achieved their personal best score in this round. A competitive one ! It won't be easy for the players who are not in the 200 points yet to be able to catch up but you never know. Next round will probably be decisive for that. Pitinosato Posted July 6, 2024 Posted July 6, 2024 Hi, why am I not able to sub out a player who is suspended for the next Game ??? That doesn't make any sense

Athenayama Posted July 6, 2024 Author Posted July 6, 2024 Ok, there is nothing in the rules that prevents you from doing that. You should be able to sub him. Try again !
Athenayama Posted July 6, 2024 Author Posted July 6, 2024 (edited) Tell me what you're seeing when you click on the "make subs" in "my team" menu. Edited July 6, 2024 by Athenayama
Pitinosato Posted July 6, 2024 Posted July 6, 2024 It's not that important (only 1 Point difference), but it would be intresting to know why I think "technical reasons" I wrote an Email to the support, but I don't expect them to answer He is "grey", the button to sub out is not active See screenshots:
Athenayama Posted July 6, 2024 Author Posted July 6, 2024 I read again the rules, I missed it the first time. As per rules you cannot sub a player that has been sent off ! Sorry. "Between matchdays, you can make as many subs within your squad as you like. After all matches on a single day have finished and before the next matches within that matchday kick off, you can: • Sub out a maximum of 4 players (unless they've been sent off), and replace them with any of your subs whose teams are yet to play within the matchday. Any players you sub out will score 0 points for that matchday. • Change your captain to another player from your squad whose team are yet to play. Your original captain’s double-points bonus will be lost, and your new captain's score for that matchday will be doubled." 1
Asapedroryu Posted July 6, 2024 Posted July 6, 2024 Yeah, they have that rule of not being able to replace someone that had a red card. At least he scored 2 points. Playing the same game on champions league you sometimes can get negative points.

Remark noted but I'll still keep you on the list cause I like the color. Shame that you couldn't access your team though. You could without problem in previous games. And everyone else who participates didn't mention any problem. I still can't explain what happened.
