A good article!  It goes into detail about his practice mentality and has reactions from his teammates.

I didn't expect to see him in the middle of the defensive line at nose tackle; even in the modern game, where speed is important, the nose tackle (so named because he lines up with his nose pointing at the offensive center lineman) is usually a big slow heavy guy who's job is to get in the way of the offense. 

However, unlike the other defensive lineman who put one hand down before the snap, nose tackles usually put both hands down; this is hard for a kid playing American football to learn, but a Sumo wrestler has that stance in his DNA.
