The banzuke for Kyushu 2023: chishafuwaku (Ye 8-7) Y Asashosakari (Yw 8-7) Profomisakari (Ow 9-6 J) O1 ryafuji (Oe 7-8) Tetsuba (Sw 9-6 J) O2 --- Athenayama (M1w 11-4 Y) S Sakura (Kw 9-6 J) Holleshoryu (M1e 9-6 J) K Bunbukuchagama (M2e 8-7) Ryoshishokunin (Ke kosho) M1 Hakuryuho (Se 7-8) WAKATAKE (M3e 7-8) M2 Fashiritētā (NR 6-9) Yarimotsu (M2w 3-12) M3 --- Would the real yokozuna please stand up? This was the third consecutive tournament in which both guys finished with 8-7 records, for chishafuwaku even the second straight tournament saved by the TB bonus win. A win or even a couple more wouldn't hurt once in a while... Ozeki Profomisakari, LKS winner two tournaments ago and then makekoshi, has successfully cleared his name of the kadoban tag. In turn it's ryafuji who will enter Kyushu with his rank on the line. They're being joined by newcomer Tetsuba who was doten runner-up in Nagoya and has now added another, this time shared, second place finish, which was deemed sufficient for promotion. Congrats! The player who defeated him for the yusho back in July, Hakuryuho, unfortunately couldn't follow up in similar fashion and is back to the maegashira ranks. Thanks for the promotion! I vow not to disgrace the rank of Ozeki... and hopefully not to be the game's Takayasu.

By the way, do you know what is the record of consecutive right tiebreaks?
