I have just emailed @Athenayama the correct predictions and line up for ChatGPT.  The only team on its squad that has already played (New Zealand) remains with the same prediction and in the same slot (phew). But there is a little shuffling of some of the other teams. My sincere apologies for that. But at least ChatGPT will now have its intended line-up.

Again I see me as an outsider.

But hey, this is Mrs. A's ingrate son, my favorite opponent!!! :)

My apologies to all, our richijo (thank you!) noticed a mistake of mine in  Group H round 2 results.

It is obvious in line 3 that Spain scores a goal with the loss of Germany. Therefore the final score should be Bunbukuchagama - Polimasa = 0-2.

I'll correct it in a few minutes. Thanks for understanding.

Colombia scored first at 52' and Germany scored at 89' with a penalty (totally justtified). Colombia win isn't undeserved if you watch the whole game. Your first comment implied obviously a lucky win of Colombia in the last minute. That's why I reacted.

Colombia played well but with another ref they might have been down to 10 after only 15 minutes. One Colombian defender clearly stroke Popp in the ribs while the ball was elsewhere. For me a clear red card but neither ref nor lineswomen nor VAR recognized it. Ugly play from Colombia and now I understand why Ireland just two weeks ago broke off a 'friendly' match vs. Colombia after only 20 minutes due to the unreasonable hardship by the South Americans. To me it reamins a secret why the first Colombian player was booked only after 62 minutes.

The first goal indeed was a beauty, nevertheless I hope Colombia will go out next round.

@Ganzohnesushi Your German heart is speaking but your comment is fair. We can't blame these girls to show the famous South American "grinta". Especially when facing generally taller and stronger opponents as the Germans are. It seemed to me a quite funny sight to see before the toss Popp exchanging the flags with Colombian Montoya. What a height difference! .
The fact is that they add to this"'grinta" a very good technique and they play good football, also compared to the other teams in this world cup.

They just fight with all the weapons they have.

Of course they won't win the trophy. On the other side I won't hope for anyone to lose. Let the better team win.
