Nekonishiki Banji Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 We are over of the fifth day, I woke up from my afternoon nap, ate some watermelon, so let’s see the results now. Two matches left for tomorrow, when already Round 3 begins. The results were: Spoiler Sweden 5 Italy 0 France 2 Brazil 1 Panama 0 Jamaica 1 Group A – Refioji Nekonishiki - Round 2 – Day 5 Jakusotsu scored already 6 goals in this match and officially it’s not over yet. If Germany draws or loses tomorrow, he can get the seventh one. The second match has already officially ended, Kaba won with 1 goal. Group F – Refioji Nekonishiki - Round 2 – Day 5 Lordshamrockyama has already a potential goal with ® team’s victory, but we still have to wait for South Korea. If South Korea wins, Lordshamrockyama wins by 1 goal, if draws, Spytoneryu scores one goal, too. And yes, if South Korea loses, Spytoneryu is the winner of this match. Exciting! The match of spouses has not ended yet, either. However, Jejima will be the winner of this match anyways. Fujiko has her chain broken in #2. It’s indifferent what plays Germany tomorrow, Jejima already has a win in Slot #1 and that one decides.

Athenayama Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 (edited) Refioji Athenayama at your service. Firt of all let's see where we stand here. - Finngall is qualified already. - Chiyonosora can even afford as small loss as he has a +2 goal difference. - ChatGPT (-4 goal difference) needs a big score win hoping also for a Chiyonosora loss. - Bumbiachiyama can't qualify anymore but will fight for her honour for sure. Last refioji comment before the lineups. It seems that the AI in their comments has also predicted some games (3) from round 2.... but who are we, poor simple humans, to understand their extremely developped way of thinking? Costa Rica, 6. USA, 7. Italy ®, 8. China, 9. New Zealand ©, 10. Ireland, 11. Vietnam Comment (from Jejima): Sorry about the human error line-up initially presented. That was entirely Jejima’s fault, only partly due to him being in a rush. Here is the corrected line-up, with the correct predictions for all matches. Thankfully, the only match with one of ChatGPT’s teams has not been affected, and remains in the same position on its squad. Comment: Brazil vs. Panama: Brazil, another football powerhouse, would likely be predicted as the favorite in this match. Their attacking flair, creativity, and depth in squad talent might give them a significant advantage over Panama. Panama, on the other hand, might look to put up a strong defensive display and rely on counter-attacks. However, Brazil's attacking prowess and goal-scoring ability might be too much for Panama to handle. The sports pundit might predict a convincing win for Brazil. Prediction: Brazil 3-0 Panama France vs. Jamaica: France, being a strong footballing nation, might be favored to win this match. Their attacking prowess, technical skills, and experience could give them the edge over Jamaica. However, Jamaica has shown resilience and determination in the group stage, and their counter-attacking abilities might pose a challenge for France. The sports pundit might predict a hard-fought match, with France having the upper hand due to their overall quality. Prediction: France 2-0 Jamaica Nigeria vs Ireland: Nigeria, having secured a victory in the second round, might have the upper hand in this match. Ireland, already eliminated from the tournament, might look to end their campaign on a positive note. The sports pundit might predict a competitive match, with Nigeria having a slight advantage due to their recent form. Prediction: Nigeria 2-0 Ireland Germany vs. South Korea: Germany, being one of the tournament favorites and having a strong footballing history, might be considered the favorite in this match. Their attacking prowess, organized defense, and overall depth in the squad could give them an advantage over South Korea. However, South Korea's quick counter-attacking style and determination could pose a challenge for the German team. The sports pundit might predict a hard-fought match with Germany ultimately emerging as the winners. Prediction: Germany 2-1 South Korea Costa Rica vs Zambia: This match will be a clash between the two teams that have not secured any points in the group stage so far. Both Costa Rica and Zambia will be eager to end their campaign on a positive note. The sports pundit might predict a closely contested match with Costa Rica's determination and experience giving them a slight advantage over Zambia. Prediction: Costa Rica 1-0 Zambia Portugal vs USA: This match could be a significant one as both teams are vying for the top spot in the group. Portugal, having secured a victory in the second round, might be motivated to continue their winning momentum. USA, being a strong team with a solid track record, might look to assert their dominance in the group. The sports pundit might predict a closely contested draw as both teams aim to secure their place in the knockout stages. Prediction: Portugal 1-1 USA Argentina vs. Italy: This match could be closely contested as both Argentina and Italy have shown determination and skill in the group stage. Argentina's attacking flair and Italy's defensive solidity might make it an intriguing clash. The sports pundit might predict a hard-fought draw or a narrow victory for either team, as both would be eager to secure a spot in the knockout stages. Prediction: Argentina 1-1 Italy England vs China: England has been in impressive form, securing two victories in the previous rounds. They might carry the momentum into this match and aim to finish the group stage with a perfect record. China, on the other hand, will look to bounce back after their defeat against Denmark and give a tough fight to secure a knockout stage spot. The sports pundit might predict a competitive match, with England having a slight advantage due to their recent performances. Prediction: England 2-1 China Switzerland vs New Zealand: The sports pundit might predict a competitive match between Switzerland and New Zealand. Switzerland's strong defensive organization and midfield control might give them an advantage, but New Zealand's attacking prowess and desire to secure their second win in the tournament could make it a challenging contest. The pundit might predict a closely fought match with a narrow victory for Switzerland. Prediction: Switzerland 2-1 New Zealand Vietnam vs Netherlands: This match could be a tough challenge for Vietnam as they face a strong Netherlands team that has already secured a victory in the group stage. Netherlands might look to finish the group stage on a high note and secure their place in the knockout stages. The sports pundit might predict a convincing win for Netherlands. Prediction: Vietnam 0-3 Netherlands ChatGPT lineup edited further to Jejima's message and post. Apologies. Edited July 30, 2023 by Athenayama

Jejima Posted July 29, 2023 Author Posted July 29, 2023 My apologies to all and especially Bumbiachiyama, but Athenayama has pointed out that some of ChatGPT's matches refer to 2nd round matches. I *think* that this is my copy and pasting error. ChatGPT is an awkward idiot, who keeps making mistakes regarding what matches have been played, calculating the current tables, and saying what the round 3 matches are. I believe that I managed to get it to make correct predictions for all round 3 matches, (but it also gave me predictions for matches already played, in error) but I was rushing to go away for the weekend; and I had loads of text conversation from ChatGPT to scroll through. So, I probably copied and pasted the wrong bits in my rush. I will check it all tomorrow when I get home (after the Group A matches I'm afraid). There might need to be minor changes to its line up, based on its predictions from yesterday, which I may have messed up via my human error. But, I will double check it's line up, as for this experiment, it should be allowed its intended line up.... if that all makes sense?

Group F – Refioji Nekonishiki - Round 3 – Day 1 The same situation in the Fujiko vs Spytoneryu match, in #7 the players have a draw. Jejima secured an important win in Slot #1 again, it can be important in this match, too. Ganzohnesushi Posted July 30, 2023 Posted July 30, 2023 (edited) The ref in the match between Germany and Colombia is a joke. First yellow card for German player Oberndorf for a harmless foul after 56 minutes and still no one from Colombia booked. They are lucky still having all 11 on board. Totally unfair team and there was a clear assault vs. Popp in the first half but even the VAR was blind... Now I understand why Ireland has broken off their friendly match vs. Colombia two weeks ago after only 20 minutes... Ganzohnesushi Edited July 30, 2023 by Ganzohnesushi
