Athenayama Posted August 2, 2023 Posted August 2, 2023 Panama is really one of the weakest teams. Anything else than this would have been a big surprise.

Fully agree. But the first goal by Panama player Cox was a beauty. In think final score will be 7-1 or so. Ganzohnesushi

Ganzohnesushi Posted August 2, 2023 Posted August 2, 2023 Unlike in previous tournaments France should not fear Germany. Our team has not half of the class compared to the German teams some 10 or 20 years ago when France regularly lost the big matches vs. Germany. As I wrote already somewhere before, I'm missing world class players like Birgit Prinz, Renate Lingor or Kerstin Stegemann (she was always underrated). Don't see anyone being able to stop Diani & Co.. Ganzohnesushi
Athenayama Posted August 2, 2023 Posted August 2, 2023 There's also the psychological side of things. And it's even more blatant with women in football (no discrimination here). I believe the biggest asset for France this time is Hervé Renard. It seems he managed to make the girls stronger on that point. Anyway, I would never erase Germany, never! Let's say it's 50/50 on that game. That said I won't be surprised at all if the French collapse one more time. It happened so many times already...
Ganzohnesushi Posted August 2, 2023 Posted August 2, 2023 Hehe, the always overhyped Brazilians are out. 0-0 only vs. little Jamaica that made it to the Octofinals. Well done, Reggae girls Ganzohnesushi

Nekonishiki Banji Posted August 2, 2023 Posted August 2, 2023 And here is the fourth day, two matches left for tomorrow. Today’s matches were: Spoiler Argentina 0 Sweden 2 South Africa 3 Italy 2 Panama 3 France 6 Jamaica 0 Brazil 0  Group A – Refioji Nekonishiki - Round 3 – Day 4 Kaba gets a real goal with win of France, but there are already 3 other potential goals as well. Anything plays Germany, Kaba wins with 5 goals. If Colombia wins, then with 6. :) Will Jakusotsu be able to cheer for South Korea? Or at least for a draw? However, if Germany wins, there will be an undecided 1:1 as the worst, Krisachiyama can not win this match. Group F – Refioji Nekonishiki - Round 3 – Day 4 If South Korea loses, it breaks both chains and the match of Jejima and Lordshamrockyama will end with 2:2. If South Korea draws and Morocco wins, Lordshamrockyama wins by 3:2. Okay, there are still some more variations, we’ll see tomorrow. If Germany loses, Fujiko wins the match with 2 goals. And here are also some possibilities with Colombia, but I won’t calculate them now. You can do it in the comments.
