Bugman Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 There used to be (not sure if there still is), a BBC documentary series called 'Arena', and it used a song by Brian Eno called 'Another Green World'. I always looked forward to hearing it: I'm also a huge fan of Vangelis' Bladerunner, but it's already been mentioned.

A lot of it I dislike with a visceral rage, and some of it I find interesting and soothing. Happily, this is very much in the second basket! 1
Churaumi Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 Tangentially on topic but Final Fantasy has been the soundtrack to much of my life. I especially like the orchestrated albums of the old games, from before games had real orchestras recording their music. If I had to pick I'd say the soundtracks to Final Fantasies 4, 6, and 12 are the best.
sumojoann Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 I normally don't care for rap music, but I make a HUGE exception for "Gangsta's Paradise" by Coolio (R.I.P.) from the 1995 movie "Dangerous Minds". This song became much bigger than the movie. The melody and chorus add a lot of emotion to the song and lyrics. Far beyond a typical rap song. 1

sumojoann Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 Here is my second-favorite, and really the only other rap song I like. It's "Lose Yourself" by Eminem and is from the movie "8 Mile" (2002).

Athenayama Posted December 8, 2022 Author Posted December 8, 2022 A post dedicated to one of my favourite western movies. Not only the scene is great but the song fits in perfectly. Pat Garret and Billy the Kid - Knocking On Heaven's Door. I like this scene too with good dialogs (as in the following bonus scene). Billy surrenders As a bonus cause I love this scene. Duel scene 1
