There used to be (not sure if there still is), a BBC documentary series called 'Arena', and it used a song by Brian Eno called 'Another Green World'.

I always looked forward to hearing it:

I'm also a huge fan of Vangelis' Bladerunner, but it's already been mentioned.

Sorry, out of likes.  Brian Eno has produced a lot of music.  A lot of it I dislike with a visceral rage, and some of it I find interesting and soothing.  Happily, this is very much in the second basket!:-)

Tangentially on topic but Final Fantasy has been the soundtrack to much of my life. I especially like the orchestrated albums of the old games, from before games had real orchestras recording their music. If I had to pick I'd say the soundtracks to Final Fantasies 4, 6, and 12 are the best.

I normally don't care for rap music, but I make a HUGE exception for "Gangsta's Paradise" by Coolio (R.I.P.) from the 1995 movie "Dangerous Minds".  This song became much bigger than the movie.  The melody and chorus add a lot of emotion to the song and lyrics.  Far beyond a typical rap song.

Here is my second-favorite, and really the only other rap song I like.  It's "Lose Yourself" by Eminem and is from the movie "8 Mile" (2002).

There are plenty of themes from TV series that I like, but usually I never watched any of the shows, just heard them on the radio, e.g.

Theme from the Avengers, Season 4, Laurie Johnson: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IcK2kwTlB5g

Theme from Peter Gunn (Henry Mancini): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oysMt8iL9UE

Theme from Knight Rider (Stu Phillips):  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhLejQ00sus

Theme from Shaft (Isaac Hayes): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTU_9T5ufzY

Theme from Twin Peaks (Angelo Badalamenti): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCn3LYqCnrk

From this I watched a few episodes

Crockett's theme from Miami Vice (Jan Hammer): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_UmOY6ek_Y4

Similarly there are Movie tunes I like, but mainly heard on radio, watched a few scenes of the films later, but not the whole one

From the Movie turned TV series, Theme from M.A.S.H. (Johnny Mandel): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gO7uemm6Yo

This one I watched much later, with fast forward when there was no music: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly theme (Ennio Morricone): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9EZGHcu3E8
