My oldest son is the only player yet to find the net. :'-(. Kimyama manages to hold onto top spot with 9 goals, despite not adding to his goal tally in this round. My big brother jomojo races up the standings to take second place, ahead of Nantonoyama on goal difference - although they both have netted 8 times.

Biggest movers are jomojo AND Pitinosato. Biggest dropper is Oshirokita.

Before going to have lunch and to take a good nap, which hopefully will last at least until the deadline, a last reminder: still waiting for Lordshamrockyama and Spytoneryu.

Just had contact with them, they're extremely busy at their respective work so I'm not sure they'll be able to send their lineups on time. They'll do what they can but.... Let's hope.

Only Finngall has managed to keep a clean sheet in all of the group matches. Well done! Biggest movers are jomojo and Spytoneru. The biggest faller (28 spots from joint first!) is Oshirokita.

@Jejima I just sent a reminder to Tibozuka. Regarding Lordshamrockyama and Spytoneryu as I wrote to Nekonishiki,

" Just had contact with them, they're extremely busy at their respective work so I'm not sure they'll be able to send their lineups on time. They'll do what they can but.... Let's hope."

Of course, I also told them about the penalty takers.

Match 1 (Bench World Cup)
Kimyama vs Akishiki

Kimyama: 1. Brazil, 2. Portugal, 3. Spain,  4. Argentina (S1), 5. Switzerland (C), 6. Poland

Comment: Have a nice week-end!
vs

Akishiki: 1. USA (R), 2. Poland (C), 3. Brazil, 4. Croatia, 5. Japan, 6. Australia

Jejima’s comment: Akishiki continues to drone…. We will know a lot about his chances after the very first match of the day!

*************************************

Match 4 (Bench World Cup)
Yarimotsu vs Kuma Koma

Yarimotsu:  1. ENGLAND, 2. FRANCE (S1), 3. BRAZIL, 4. NETHERLANDS, 5. AUSTRALIA, 6. MOROCCO, 7. SOUTH KOREA
Comment: Come on en-ga-land...
vs
Kuma Koma: 1. Netherlands (C), 2. France, 3. Switzerland, 4. South Korea (R), 5. Australia, 6. Poland, 7. Brazil (S1)

Jejima’s comment: Kuma Koma is sadly droning – but his line-up does look strong, nevertheless.

*************************************

Match 13 (Bench World Saucer)
Tibozuka vs Athenayama

Tibozuka: 1. Argentina (C), 2. Switzerland, 3. Poland, 4. France (S1)
vs

Athenayama: 1. Brazil, 2. England (S1), 3. Switzerland, 4. Croatia
Comment : So, so, so disappointed with myself ! Obviously bad luck from the beginning when the dice "offered" me Qatar as (R) team. From that time, I was already doomed... as I never would have chosen Germany if I had the choice. Anyway... Cherry on the cake, my friend Kimiyama nicely stabbed me in the back in the first game, and now Tibozuka, another friend I brought to play the BWC, will probably do the same!

Jejima’s comment: Tibozuka is also sadly droning. But he has ended up with his counterbalance team Argentina in first slot, which might not be a bad thing – especially if that match goes to extra time…. Both players only have four on their squad – so could well go to penalties?

*************************************

Match 14 (Bench World Saucer)
Kurosaki vs Andrasoyama

Kurosaki: 1. Argentina (S1), 2. Spain ©, 3. Netherlands, 4. Brazil, 5. Poland, 6. USA, 7. Australia ®
Comment: Damn you, Brazil!
vs

Andrasoyama: 1. France (S1), 2. Brazil, 3. Spain, 4. USA (C), 5. Poland (R), 6. Australia
Comment:
well, Denmark and Belgium are in their rightful place...

Jejima’s comment: Both players have decided to lead with their substitute! Kurosaki has managed to have all four teams that are playing today in his squad – so we’ll have a good idea about how this game is going by the end of the day.

Match 5 Bench World Cup:

First of the family (I "refioji" them all!) the richijo himself. His comment, well, comments everything already. Chijanofuji shows that he has not so much faith in his (R) team which happens to be his homeland. Good luck to both!

Jejima: 1. England (R), 2. Brazil, 3. Netherlands, 4. Switzerland
Comment: My aite has a much bigger squad than me. I have a feeling that I will need my (R) squad to perform to have any chance - so I will lead with them, and hope for the best....

Chijanofuji: 1. Argentina (S1), 2. France, 3. Spain, 4. Netherlands ®, 5. Switzerland, 6. Morocco, 7. South Korea ©

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Match 8 Bench World Cup:

I just hope that andonishiki's comment won't create a diplomatic incident with our German friends on the forum. :-P
Kaba is expecting big scoring already!
Good luck to both!

Kaba: 1. Brazil (S1),  2. USA, 3. Portugal, 4. France,  5. Japan, 6. Morocco (C), 7. Australia, 8. England, 9. Poland
Comment: Good goal!

andonishiki : 1. Brazil, 2. England, 3. France (S1), 4. Japan, 5. Switzerland (R), 6. Australia
Comment: very lucky to made it into the knock-out stages.
now everything can happen.
cheering with
Nippon with my family was fantastic, kicking the idiot #hansiraus OUT of the tournament.
including six players from the criminal effzehbauern.
Not putting Fuellkrug, the only effective striker, in the starting line-us was incredibly STTTUUUUPID
go home rainbow arm wrist idiots

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Match 9 Bench World Saucer:

Fujijo seems more motivated than silent Pitinosato here. lineups look actualy balanced. Will the 7th team mke the difference?

Pitinosato : 1. Argentina (S1), 2. Brazil 3. Netherlands, 4. Japan, 5. Senegal (R), 6. Morocco

Fujiko: 1. England, 2. Morocco, 3. France, 4. South Korea, 5. Portugal, 6. Australia, 7. Senegal (C)
Comment, Go, go, go!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Match 11 Bench World Saucer:

Baku's options look poorer but if Croatia happens to win in regular time, who knows?

Oyama : 1. Brazil, 2. Argentina (S1), 3. Senegal, 4. Australia.
Comment: Too many poor choices doomed my team.

Baku: 1. Croatia (R), 2. Brazil, 3. Poland
