Jun yusho: Takaysu

...but I admit that this is more because I want a Takayasu yusho than because I think it's the likely outcome.

Even i am not infallible when it comes to supporting Takakeisho

Jokes aside, i'm not 100% confident in his form this time around, he's bounced back every time he's showed up to defend his rank, but you could say the same about any ozeki that wasn't demoted.

Terunofuji is an easy pick for the yusho. I'm going with next ozeki Hoshoryu for the jun-yusho. None of the sanyaku inspire me this basho.

Oh. Sure! The yusho pick is easy...once Hakuho is out of the basho. Us early Hakuho pickers aren't going to take this lying down. We are going to form a posse. And we're gonna drive on down to your house, and we're going watch some sumo with you. And we're going to heckle Terunofuji for 2 hours in the form of Broadway musical revue while you watch, helpless to stop us, and the worst songs get stuck in your head. Not so fast, there, @Benevolance.  You obviously haven't seen Terunofuji's stunning duo with Susan Boyle in "I Dreamed a Dream."  Let's see, the URL is here somewhere, no not there, maybe it's ... oh, dang, it must have been taken down for copyright infringement ... well, anyway, in Shibuya he's known as the Bari-Kaiju.  [I'll cross-post this to Ridiculous Predictions later ... ]

Juryo yusho will be decided between Abi and Mitoryu, i favour Abi.

Takakeisho is the dark horse of makuuchi. If he isn't up to 100%, an un- or slightly injured Terunofuji will be hard to beat.

Shodai is going 15-0. The folks of Grand Sumo Breakdown had it right, he is GoeidOzeki 2.0 and Aki is his Basho.

It's never too late for Shodai to be Next Ozeki Shodai. Takakeisho needs to save himself from kadoban to not be in front of Shodai in the queue, though.
