Its about 7Mb 1 & 1/2 minute long high quality DivX encoded file. (most media players will play it).

Guys, don't post your email addresses on the forum. Sooner or later a webbot is going to scan these pages, find your emails and store them in some spammers database. And you'll receive tons of spam daily. Forever.

Can webbots scan private messages? are they safe? or is nothing safe?

Adere... get a Yahoo email account, they allow attachments up to 10Mb and 100Mb of storage is available.

Its interesting I am testing out the capabilites of maximum attchment size with this one.

My ISP email account wont send or accept the attachment.

Gmail and Yahoo will though, Hopefully those with regular ISP accounts have a better service than mine.

P.s to those who posted your address I have got them now so you can edit your post and delete them for safety (Eh?)

Another option if someone wants to share large files is to put them on a web server and provide the URL. Preferable solution IMHO. (Blushing...)

Not sure I understand your question ... what do you mean by "private messages"? Nothing you transmit over the Internet is private, unless you encrypt it. (Eh?)

I am a simpleton when it comes to web servers and stuff like that, one day I will learn - sorry. I dont have my own website yet. (Blushing...)

Emailing it is the only way I know how, someone offered once to host a video for me, but I forgot who it was.

Private messages - I mean sending private messages on the forum, is it safe to list your email address there or is it easily accessed by web crawlers or bots that trawl for email addresses?

Private messages are much safer, the only ones who could get there would be the forum admins or the hosting provider people.
