Hi Friends!

As I see, the forum goes. Thanks to all who made it again alive!!!   
Because we were two days without, I will post only the current ranking table, but all comments from day 1 to 5. 

Day 1
On Shonichi this time we had 4 bouts and 7 players, who guessed all 4 bouts correctly. Here TB2 still had to be used. This means, that Houmanoumi is ahead of the game.
Tomorrow we have only one bout. 

Day 2.
After day 2 and five bouts there are now still 4 players, who have all bouts correct voted.
As yesterday leads Houmanoumi with the best tiebreaker 2.
Tochinofuji has as ever no bout correct. But the final result makes the winner! 

Day 3.
Once more there was only one game 21 bout – and once more had all 4 leaders this bout voted correct.
So they lead as ever in the same row ( Houmannoumi as first ). BTW Tochinofuji holds as ever his 0 number.
Tomorrow we have once more just one bout (Hoshoryu vs Chiyotairyu)

Day 4
This bout won Chiyotairyu. Only 8 of the 31 players had him, from the leaders quartet had him only Profomisakari.
He is now the new leader, BTW also Tochinofuji had him and is no more the last of the ranking table.But already tomorrow we have two more fights that can change that.

 Day 5
Now we had two bouts (9 and 10).
Yesterday’s surprising leader Profomisakari failt both results and fell again back to the second place one point behind the former and now new leader Houmanoumi. Tomorrow we’ll have again one game 21 bout ( bout 6 Daieisho vs Onosho ). Let’s see!

Today we had again only one bout. Onosho beat Daieisho. Profomisakari had him, Houmanoumi not. Now have both again the same points, but Profo the better TB1.
Tomorrow we again have only one bout (Tamawashi vs Terutsuyoshi). For this bout both leaders have the same vote and both pursuers have too bad TB, so will the leadership not be changed.

Today again was only one bout. 
Both leaders voted false, one of both pursuers (Mmikasazuma) had it correct,
but she came with her TB1 only to place 3.

Tomorrow we get bout 5 (Kiribayama vs Wakatakakage).
All three new leaders voted "A", but there wait three pursuers only one point behind.
Two of them voted for the “5a”-guy.

Day 8:
The bout took place, but not the favorite Kiribayama won, but Wakatakakage. So came too Shimodahito and Shatsume new to the now five-headed leadership group. Because without Shimodahito only eight players had voted for the winner “5a”, we must add this 8 to the his TB1 and get for him the same value 108 as Profomisakari has, who holds his first place only because he posted his vote one day earlier.

But there is still a whole week and we will see how it will go.

Hokutofuji won vs Kagayaki and the leadership quintet became a trio and as ever leads Profomisakari.
Like yesterday he has only the better TB2 before Shimodahito. Third is Shatsume.
Then follow four players one point behind. They all still have a chance for the final win.

And @Wakatake: Bout 17 (with Chiyotairyu's win) is included into the result.

Day 10:
There were two game 21 bouts today.
The torikumi for tomorrow once again contains a bout for our game.
This heralds two records.
Asojima has already announced one of them above:

Wow!!  After Day 11, we will probably have no more undecided matches!!!  I think that is a record.

The second record is already set:
From Shonichi to day 10 there was every day at least one bout of our game.
If fight 15 takes place tomorrow, that record will be improved again. 

And a little more foresight:
Today all pursuers have lost the touch with the leading trio.
Profomisakari, Shimodahito and Shatsume now each have 11 points and thus 2 points ahead of their pursuers.
So if there is only one bout left, they can fight for places among themselves.

But all three gave the same tip for this fight. Who will win there?
The winner even seems to have been determined after 11 days.
That would also be a record.
And if the winner finally will be decided by TB2, that would be the 4th record.

But now you still must evaluate the X picks.
I know who it have, but I'm not going to reveal it yet.

And finally:
It is very unlikely, that someone who dropped out, will run again, but it is possible.
That is why we have to wait until day 14 or even Senshuraku to announce the winner and the exact list of results.

Let us exercise patience, despite all apparent certainty!

Many years ago, Takamueda conceived of and started the 21 game.  Thirteen + years ago, Profomisakari and I replaced him as co-administrators of the game.  During that time, I have used my Magic Dartboard to select the 21 matches for the next basho. The two of us have used the Professor's Super Spreadsheet to record the entries for each of our players and to track the scoring changes as the basho unfolds.  Keeping all of the pieces in order has been both a joy and a challenge.

The time has come for me to step down from my adminstrator position. Accordingly, the Hatsu 21 basho will be my final basho using my dartboard and the spreadsheet to track the entries and results.  I will continue as a player of the game.

Profomisakari will continue as a game administrator.  He will probably be selecting a new co-admistrator.  If anyone is interested in assisting the Professor, please send a forum PM to either or both of us.

Day 11:

Yes, Profomisakari is still tied on points and with the same TB1 ahead of Shimodahito, just because he submitted his tip a day earlier. But this is only about places 2 and 3.

Shatsume is now one point ahead on place 1.
Yesterday I overlooked the fact, that he didn't tap the little hop Enho, but the old warrior Sadanoumi. Sadanoumi won and gave our friend from Scotland the point that will probably be enough for him to win, even if we will only know for sure this at Senshuraku.

If Kotoyuki will no more compete against Shimanoumi,
Shatsume will even get one point for his X tip
and clear win the game 21 Yusho.

If this fight would take place after all
- which of course I don't believe -
everything would still be open.
But because theoretically all is possible:
We have to wait until Senshuraku.
