Judging a rikishi's strength through MMA skill is like judging a fish's intelligence by their ability to climb a mountain. There's very little that plays to their strengths. Pushing people away is discouraged, even.

Now let's make it a bar room brawl where people can push each other against tables, walls and counters. Etc. Then tell me that sekitori are weak. :-P

Takakenshin now had his 2nd career win, both this year, after starting his RIZIN career in 2022 with 2 losses, one loss in 2023 and one in 2024 at the traditional big RIZIN event on New Year's Eve.

Takakenshin looked more and more like his twin brother, but has gained 5 kg again

I have no idea how much an average Rizin fighter such as Takakenshin is paid, but is 2 fights per year really enough to make a living? Or does he do something else for a steady income?
