Ever since I broke my left elbow about a decade ago, I have been unable to do pull-ups (or chin-ups) or anything that requires strength from both elbows - not even a push-up. I can't fully extend my left arm. :-(

 

So, a no (due to injury, not weight/unfitness) from me.

Thanks,I get it now.

II'm sure I could but I haven't tried recently.  

That is despite  breaking both my arms in the last few years

As someone who recently broke her back and is lucky to have escaped paralysis, it's a definite 'No'. Perhaps the age at which it would have been easy was about 40 years ago.

I see I'm currently in the majority voting 'No', but I'd have preferred an 'Of course not, you silly bugger!" option.

I voted 'don't know' - 10 years a go I could when I was running 3 half-marathons a month but I'm now a bit of a chubby git and I'm not sure my 53 year old arms could deal with the extra couple of stone!

I was going to vote yes because a few years ago I remember doing one. But just for fun I tried one at home. The gravity in Michigan must be stronger than where I used to live because I could not pull myself up at all! So I voted no.

There was a time when I could do three of them with a lot of will power and effort.  That was fifty pounds and fifty years ago.

Sorry, I'm a big wimp.  Even when young and thin, I could never do a legit pullup.  Distance runner as a youth, all the muscles in my calves.
