Yamanashi Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 Does anyone on the Forum know how the combination of the crowd-less basho and the ban on social media is affecting the rikishi, especially the younger ones?
Fujisan Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 I have just been watching day 12 of the basho I have a question. At the end of Hakuhos loss zabtons are thrown on to the dohyo. Wehere did they come from, when there is no crowd, They dont look real to me,they look computer generated. 3
Jakusotsu Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 Double mono-ii? Mugendai and and Tochikodai are real crowd-pleasers... 1

The guy from the Natto channel put and effect like this in his videos as a joke when Kakuryu dropped his first Match. He also edited a artificial sounding "whoooo" into the video on one of Terutsuyoshi's Salt throws. Nothing beats the Mario jump sound effect @Kintamayama edited in one of Kotoyuki's matches a while back though. I'm not sure if I can handle an Aoiyama Yusho. Kudos to the big guy, but I'm really not much of a fan.

code_number3 Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 How come day 14 torikumi not released until at least 15.30 JST?
robnplunder Posted March 20, 2020 Author Posted March 20, 2020 Terunofuji's knees seemed to be ok today. He was pushing forward fine against Hakuhozan for an easy win. That win probably secured his return to Makuuchi rank. Maybe, Kotoshoho will join him if things finish well for him. Just 20 years old!

Kintamayama Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 Makuuchi torikumi for tomorrow will be decided after day 13 is over.

I assume they want to see what happens with Aoiyama and the pursuers. If Aoiyama loses and any or all of Hakuho, Kakuryu and Asanoyama win, they can keep the traditional weekend schedule. If Aoiyama wins, he will probably face at least one of them at the weekend.
robnplunder Posted March 20, 2020 Author Posted March 20, 2020 I knew Takanosho can beat Aoiyama! He is mathematically alive for the yusho. Aoiyama is still in good shape for the same.

Joaoiyama Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 Enho vs Daieisho was the worst torinaoshi call i've ever seen. 2
robnplunder Posted March 20, 2020 Author Posted March 20, 2020 Hmm, didn't Enho beat Daeisho twice today? Great win for the might mouse. I am still sticking with Hak for the yusho. Asanoyam, the next Ozeki.

Asapedroryu Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 Hakuho - Aoiyama Kak - Asa Mita - Takanosho Nice matches for tomorrow. They could have been nicer with Aoiy

Mitakeumi vs Takanosho should be a good one.
yohcun Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 Onosho vs Takakeisho. It feels like it's been ages. 2
